Go to a grove of pines, when the moon is new, and in the earth beneath their boughs inscribe a circle, wide as you are tall. Lie down within it, your arms extended to meet the circle's rim, and saying these words:

The ancient pine
Is evergreen
The crescent moon
May never wane
The circle bound
Is ever round
And so my life
As light and leaf

Pluck three needles of pine from a green branch, take them home, and wind them tightly round about with a hair from your head and a long green thread. Keep this charm beside your bed, that you may dream of eternity, and each night before you sleep, repeat the words that have conjured youth from the enchanted grove. Ever after, you should wear some token of green-jade, emerald, or other stone, ornament, or article of clothing-in honor of this fair spell now threaded through your life.

Summer Mask

Strawberries, abundant this month, are an excellent skin softening agent, containing salicylic acid, which rids the skin of dead cells and allows the skin to absorb more moisture. Below is a simple, quick summer mask that will leave your face soft and glowing!

1/2 cup fresh strawberries
2 tbsp. plain yogurt (with live cultures)
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. honey
1/8 tsp. Essential Oil of Lavender

Combine the ingredients above into a paste and apply to face and neck. Relax for 20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

Fill your bathtub with water and scatter some fresh rose petals in it. Light some vanilla candles and/or incense. As you lie in the water, meditate on the image you would like to project and say these words:

Earth, Air, Fire, Sea
Let the Goddess' beauty
Shine through me

Spells and more spells

VERVAIN: For everlasting youth, this spell must be performed when the moon is full.. Go outdoors and light one black candle. Take a chalice of water to which you add salt, and two spoonsful of Vervain. Mix thoroughly and dip into this water a piece of petrified wood. Pass the rock through the flame of the candle and chant:

"Candle, herb, rock, water, salt,
Hear me as my song is sung,
Age is not my hearts desire,
It is youth to which I aspire,
Candle, herb, rock, water, salt."

Repeat the ritual and chant seven times. As each chant is said, touch the rock in turn to first one foot, one hand, one shoulder, crown of the head, and then down the other side of the body to shoulder, hand and foot. When the spell is finished, take the rock immediately to the nearest river, beach or stream and throw it in..

On a full moon, take a mirror and go outside (if ya can't then open a window, make sure the moon is reflected on the mirror ) take a piece of a picture (hair, lips, eyes, whatever you are interested in changing) place it on the mirror and concentrate on it and say:

Moonshine, Starlight, let the wind carry your light, let your glow cover my body, and let your shine cover every eye.

Say it 3 times and concentrate on the part that you want to change, Then say:

Moonshine, Starlight, shape, and mold my body, as a rose is granted beauty, let me blossom in your light, the light that brings me beauty, and grant me beauty three times three.

Say it 3 times and when you are finished light a candle (pink) or incense.

rosemary and sunflower oils
paper and fountainpen with red ink
sprig of rosemary
glass of springwater
Dilute five drops of rosemary into one oz. of sunflower oil. Massage into hair. Close eyes and inhale the scent. Write name on paper with red ink, then dip sprig of rosemary into spring water and chant:

"Dew of the sea, enhance my charms, bring love and friendship into my arms."

Place paper in spring water, and remove when ink is faded. Wash the oil out of hair, using the spring water as the final rinse. Wear the sprig of rosemary for the rest of the day. Use this whenever you feel the need

Each night put a fresh glass of water on your nightstand, hold your hands palms down over the glass to charge the water, saying:

"Youth and vibrant health into this water flows. I command it!"

When you wake up in the morning, drink the water, every drop. Keep doing this, and watch the changes that occur from this simple ritual.

by Jenny Joseph

With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

Re-did my house

Boy I need something to do!!!!!! I re-did my living room, as you can see from the picture, I moved the large sectioal sofa so that it's no longer in front of the window. Now the window's are open, and that's a good thing in the summer. Besides, were I had it.... In front of the windows... I always felt like I was a sniper target or something..... And now at least I can look out the windows.

Then I moved my big desk into the dining room area. I put it in front of the window, and removed that stupid paper backing most of these desks come with, so that the window is visible. This way I can type on the computer, look outside the window, and since it's right next to the kitchen, I can watch what I'm cooking at the same time...... And it's right across from the living room, so I can at least hear the TV.... Not see it, since my back is too it, but I can hear it.

The desk was in the den at that back of the house, and when I went on the computer, I couldn't hear or see anything. I would run..... Check my mail... And run back to the kitchen to cook. Now I can do it all at the same time. I LIKE IT!!!!

Party food

Grown Not Fun Any More

You know, I just realized that I have become MAJOR lacking in fun!

Yes, me...... The girl who had TONS of parties!!!!!!! Some of them memorable.

Like the picnic for my old Club the Ascension. We had a good picnic and then it started to rain, and we all wound up back at my house! Like 100 people. And most of them slept over. Slept every where they could. LOL I remember my friend Mikie sleeping in the fireplace!!!! Because he couldn't find a spot on the floor. And this was in my old, old house witch had 5 bedrooms, 3 livingrooms (formal, den, family room) And floor space wasn't available. (Plus I arranged, and started the Chocolate Party's at Shore Leave!!!!)

My Halloween party's were fantastic!!!!!! And Christmas party's were sublime. I used to have a Memorial day party every year!!!! One year I had over 80 people squeezed into a back porch and tent on the driveway..... Because it was raining. And EVERYONE has a marvelous time!!!!

My party's for the star trek club in Pa were great also. Lots of food, different rooms for different things. The living room was dancing, the den was for sex talk, the other room was for serious talk..... It was a blast.

I haven't had a party in over 3 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!

Have I grown old and stodgy??????

I could blame it on moving a lot.... I know I have. LOL

I've lived in 4 house's since the days on the Ascension. I kept buying house's and fixing them up and moving again. Fun yes, but I've misplaced a lot of friends over the years by moving so much.

Then I because close friends with Mary. I tried to fit my party's around her and her friends schedule, and it never seemed to work out..... So I gave up having party's and let them have them...... And I have to add, HORRIBLE PARTY'S they had. People with mental problems, fights, bad food!!! But, she was my best friend, so I went along with it. LOL

NO ONE would go to their party's except for a select few..... And HAY.... NO FUCKING DRINKS!!!! A lot of people refused to come because it was a dry Party. Now I, myself don't drink much, but others do.

Hummmmm What am I going to do about it???? I've been thinking and thinking. I'm going to go to shore leave this year and re-connect with my old friends! I've been out of the group for so long, it's going to be really hard, but I'm going to try! I live down the shore now, so maybe that will swing things in my direction.

People love to have someone down the shore, so that they don't have to pay to stay at the beach. And I'm not with Mary and her band of misfits anymore.... So that should help some. Plus I'm bringing my Daughter Jaime to Shore Leave, and she had tons of friends there too.........

I'm going back to the party's and fun, and food, and friends. I've been gone from it tooooooooooooooo looooooong!

Last Show

Well, the last show of Charmed is over. It was a good show, even though you could see by their faces that the girls had a hard time finishing, they all looked like they had been crying. I know they were

Leo was brought back, he and piper lived a long, long life, she opened a restaurant, and he re-opened and taught at the magic school.

Paige had a little boy and twin girls

Phoebe married Coop, and they had three girls. Maybe charmed again.

It was a happy ending. The two boys of piper and Leo, were handsome and good, and fighting demons. So the evil was prevented.

Lots of grandchildren and happy lives.............. I'm glad it ended that way. As I said before, I'm going to miss it.

The End of Charmed

Tonight is the last episode of Charmed. I'm going to really miss that show. I've enjoyed 8 years of my favorite Witches.

I think the show has gone a long way in making my religion viable with others. Yes, we are a legal religion, yes, we are the oldest religion, but there are still incredibly STUPID people out there who relate being Wiccian to being devil worshipers!!!!

No matter how many times we try to explain that Wicca doesn't even believe in the devil. There is no such thing!!! Slow, unintelligent people still believe in their fears and lack of understanding. Which is why or main motto is "NEVER AGAIN THE BURNING TIMES"

Charmed has helped a lot, the main reason it was made......

Yes dears, who do you think made up that idea for a show???? I'm not the only witch around.....Get a life.

Of course they did make it a bit, just a bit, larger then life, but that's TV.

Not all witches are CURRENTLY young and slim and sexy.... LOL But we all were at one time!!!!!

All the phases must be gone through...... Goddess, Mother, and last of all Crone! It's life, simple isn't it.

But I'm going to miss it!!!

The Front Garden

This is part of the front garden. As you can see that huge plant in front is the teeny tiny black bamboo from China. 6 years and didn't grow an inch!!!!! Guess the sandy soil here at the shore was what it was waiting for.

I'm still having trouble with the arbor plants. That yellow climbing rose is 3 years old, and it's not really growing tall....But it has nice blooms. I was hoping it would cover the arbor in a year or two's time, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen..... So I'm going to get some Honeysuckle and plant that to grow over the arbor. Lets hope that works. LOL

Couldn't resist

I think this looks just like me!!!!!!! Except for the hat, I don't wear hats, but this is soooooooooooo life like. Really!

You know what I love???? I was thinking that Memorial Day weekend is coming up. Before, if I thought of going to the beach it would entail major planning.

1. The long Drive
2. Gas money
3. A place to stay.... Either a friends or a hotel
4. The cost of the hotel
6. The fact you had to pack up for the beach right, since you couldn't leave the beach and drive home if you forgot your suntan lotion

Now that I LIVE HERE, my major planning includes

1. where is my bathing suit
2. Where's my suntan lotion

I get in my car, drive 10 minutes..... AND I'M THERE. I can lay on the beach all day long, walk the boardwalk, and eat interesting foods. Smell the air!!! I'm a totally happy camper!!!!!! GIGGLE

My pathetic garden!

These are the Artichokes. I totally babied them!!! I started them 2 months early inside and watched, fertilized, and prayed over them!!! They are out side in huge containers now and seem to be thriving!!!!

The blueberry's have their own pots, because they can grow over 6 feet tall if you don't keep them trimmed, but they have tons of flowers witch means tons of blueberry's!!!

And the chives are in bloom, and the tomatoes are really stocky and healthy. Looks like a good crop all around

I'll have to take some pictures of my bamboo. I imported a black bamboo from china about 7 years ago, it was always a little tiny spindly plant....But I dug it up and took it with me each time I moved. Well, it seems the sandy beach soil it it's favorite and it's going crazy and shooting up all over the place!!!!!! I've never seen it so happy. I'll take some pictures when the leaves come out and post them in a few weeks!

Weird times

I recently had two old friends call me. Both who I haven't spoken to in at least a year. Both who pissed me off royal......... And now want to make nice, nice, and make up with me!!!!!

It really amazes me. One of them, I have no fucking idea what went wrong.

I didn't say, or do anything, but one of my other friends did.... And for some reason, they took their anger out on me.

Now, I admit that I have a mouth..... But when it's NOT my mouth that says the things..... Why get mad at me??? Well, the person that DID say the things is pissed off at it all.......... And planning to get major revenge!

Why???? Who the fuck knows, since the person isn't mad at them, but at me!!!! Duhhhhhh, some people are just nuts, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. LOL

Well, I'm not up to making friends with this person again.... Not for a while at least....Because they were wrong, and haven't apologized for it. And the one who started all the trouble..... Well, she's plotting to tell the other's story all over a place we go to, and let people know not to trust, or think this other person is even the least bit sane. Which isn't fair, since the old friend has lots of friends there, and it would be totally embarrassing for her. I can't let happen!!!!!

Yes, I'll try to stop her from doing that. There's no reason she should spread story's, even though they are true, she shouldn't do it. I have her half convinced to leave well enough alone, and just forget it. And I'm planning to do even more to make sure she does. Not that revenge wouldn't be sweet..... But I like my own revenge, thanks! Giggle

The other is an old girlfriend that I've been with for years, she got married And he was too jealous to allow her to hang with her friends. She now, has gotten rid of him, and called me up. She apologized for her actions And I have more then accepted. I missed her! So we are back to being friends again, and it's nice. I love to have someone to shop with and chat with each day. You know what they say, old friends are gold!!!! And before her marrage, she was the best thing!!!
