Merlin is my companion and my familiar. So, I figured that his name should be the title of this Witch's room. I'm going to post spells, both new and well used ones, and all kinds of information on the craft. I'm a 5th generation Witch, so I have a lot of older learning that I would love to pass on. Come in, have a cup of tea, pet my cat, and maybe learn something along the way

Dill
Dill is a short-lived perennial herb which represented wealth to the ancient Greeks.
During the Middle Ages, dill was believed to possess magical powers and could destroy evil spells.
The name is derived from the old Norse word “dilla” meaning “to lull” because it was used to lull babies to sleep, and as an antidote to bad witchcraft and sorcery.
A drink made from dill leaves was the remedy for anyone who believed that a evil witch had cast a spell on them.
Sprinkling dried Dill on your front steps prevents evil from coming into your house
