Hear this spell and say it well,
over every hill and dale
night and day month and year
love will travel swiftly here
true of heart, lips that don't lie
strong of health, and sane of mind
for your heart yearns for me
you can't rest till we meet
swift and silent like the moon
love to me, now, before I swoon

Sometimes the brain just doesn't work!!!!!
I'm sitting here since Friday waiting for my friend Barb to call. She was going on a cruise, and said she would call me before she left. But the phone's not ringing, as a matter of fact NO one called at all, all weekend!
Finally I go check the phone to find it dead as a doornail. Fuck! I know it wasn't turned off! So I checked the plug then the connections. Took me like 3 hours to realize that the little red light that says the phone isn't recharging wasn't on!!!!
When I wiggled the phone, it would blink on and off. So I tried this and that, finally I cleaned the contacts with some alcohol, and whoopsie.... It's now re-charging. Grrrrrrrr, do you think I could have noticed that light off before yesterday??? No, sometimes I'm just so not with it. Giggle
But it has charged now, and all's better. Don't know how many phone calls I missed, but it was the weekend, so it can't have been so many of them. And since the answering machine is with the telephone company, any messages would have been still saved, but nothing!
I still don't have the hang of routine matainance. LOL Gonna check my whole house and see if I'm missing anything else. LOL

Some new spells
Good luck candy (pass around good luck for great Karma!)
You will need: a handful of candy; a white or orange candle
What to do: Light the candle, and put the candies in a pile. Make a triangle with your index finger and thumb of both hands, and them in a deosil (clockwise) direction over the candies while chanting:
Charmed are these candy treats
Good fortune to all I merry meet!
Then give out the candies to friends and family and three people you don't know.
Witch's Handshake
extend your right index finger lightly to touch the persons wrist where the pulse is felt. by touching his pulse it throws the person completely off guard, and at that time say silently what you want to your self (such as.... I'm the right person for this job.) This really works

EVENESSENCE
Have any of you ever heard of a group called Evenessence? They make me cry, hurt inside, but cleanse at the same time. She sings of pain and endings, and you believe. Here are some of thier songs, you can't hear it, but by reading, you can feel it.
"My Last Breath"
hold on to me love
you know i can't stay long
all i wanted to say was i love you and i'm not afraid
can you hear me?
can you feel me in your arms?
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
i'll miss the winter
a world of fragile things
look for me in the white forest
hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
i know you hear me
i can taste it in your tears
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
closing your eyes to disappear
you pray your dreams will leave you here
but still you wake and know the truth
no one's there
say goodnight
don't be afraid
calling me calling me as you fade to black
holding my last breath
safe inside myself
are all my thoughts of you
sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
"Bring Me To Life"(feat. Paul McCoy)
how can you see into my eyes like open doors
leading you down into my core
where I’ve become so numb without a soul my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
until you find it there and lead it back home
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become
now that I know what I’m without
you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
bring me to life
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become
Bring me to life
(I've been living a lie, there's nothing inside)
Bring me to life
frozen inside without your touch without your love darling only you are the life among the dead
all this time I can't believe I couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
without a thought without a voice without a soul
don't let me die here
there must be something more
bring me to life
(Wake me up)
Wake me up inside
(I can’t wake up)
Wake me up inside
(Save me)
call my name and save me from the dark
(Wake me up)
bid my blood to run
(I can’t wake up)
before I come undone
(Save me)
save me from the nothing I’ve become
(Bring me to life)
I’ve been living a lie, there’s nothing inside
(Bring me to life)

Heat Prepared
It's very hot outside, even more for the shore area, so I'm taking pre-cautions. I have central air conditioning, but I don't want to get a HUGE bill from running it. So I'm:
1. Making sure all the doors and windows are closed, and locked
2. Dimming the rooms by keeping the curtains closed, and the blinds down and almost totally closed
3. Running a regular fan in the living room, to make sure the air keeps flowing... Plus it really helps keeping things cool
4. Keeping my air conditioner on a higher setting (low for cooling, high for less cooling) I have it set at like 78 or 80. I don't want it running constantly, and with the blinds and curtains closed, it should stay cooler in the house. Plus the fan makes it feel even cooler
It's too hot to even think of going to the beach!!!
Shore area hint: if it's really, really hot, then the breeze is off the land, not the water. And being off the land, the beach would be a huge sweat box. Once the breeze turns and comes off the water, it cools down a lot!
I also made sure I got up early and went out and watered all the plants super wet, early when the sun wasn't so bright yet, and I'll do it again tonight once the sun sets. Don't want my plants wilting because of the heat, and keeping them well watered is the trick to that.
I also made sure the rear windows on my car were open a bit, I don't like the inside of the car to roast, since this affects the plastic dash and such. Don't have a garage, so I needs some small air ventilation. Also made sure both side windows are cracked a notch.
Another hint is to do all your cleaning, vaccuming ect, early in the morning while the house is still much cooler!

Reincarnation
Being a witch I'm of course a big believer in reincarnation.
Someone brought up and interesting concept to me. We, of course, believe that we are reborn into a new life.
But he says, what if we are reborn, time and time again, into the SAME life. Interesting concept. I do like that. Each time, of course, it would be different, since the paths we take, take us in different directions.
I had a fine and nice childhood, so it wouldn't be a bad thing... Would it. All we would have to do is get our lives right next time. Maybe how we do in school, or how we treat our family, or even who we marry and the children we have. Interesting isn't it.
time after time back into the same old life we go, trying to get it right each time. LOL Maybe after we get it right, then me move on to another time frame, another body.
LOL Maybe something to look forward too :)

Report on veg garden
Well, the gardens coming along great.
The tomatoes are getting ripe, so far we have 6 or 7 of them, nice size. I stuffed one with breadcrumbs and butter.... yummmmmmy.
We've eaten 4 artichokes so far, and there are more on the plant.
strawberry's, I've picked 3 or 4 a day now for a week or so, and the blueberry's are ripening fast.
But the best is the Japanese eggplant, which has gone ballistic!!!!! I've sliced and fried so many eggplant's that I'm starting to get sick of them!!!! From one tiny plant. And they grow like crazy. One day they are tiny, and the next the size of huge zuccini's!!!!!! But unlike regular egg plants, they are sweeter, and no seeds. Fry up nice in butter with a touch of lemon!!!!!
I know I'm planting more next year, and an extra planter full of artichokes. Yeh!!!!!

was she?? or wasn't she????? Hummmmm
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (July 11) - Grace Sherwood was a healer, a midwife and a widowed mother of three sons. Her neighbors thought she also was a witch who ruined crops, killed livestock and conjured storms.
On July 10, 1706, the 46-year-old woman was tied up and "ducked" - dropped into a river - in what is now Virginia Beach. The theory behind the test was that if she sank, she was innocent, although she'd also likely drown.
She floated - apparently proof she was guilty because the pure water cast out her evil spirit. After being hauled out and jailed, she lived quietly until her death at 80, Virginia's only person tried by water for witchcraft and convicted.
That changed Monday - the 300th anniversary of the ducking - after a little magic from the governor. Gov. Timothy M. Kaine made the conviction disappear - poof! - by granting an informal pardon just before a re-enactment of Sherwood's being dropped into the Lynnhaven River.
"With 300 years of hindsight, we all certainly can agree that trial by water is an injustice," Kaine wrote. "We also can celebrate the fact that a woman's equality is constitutionally protected today, and women have the freedom to pursue their hopes and dreams."
Kaine spokesman Kevin Hall said the exoneration was "a gesture of goodwill" for local resident Belinda Nash, 59, who has been researching Sherwood for years and asked for the governor to exonerate the woman.
Nash said she hopes Kaine's action will now help her erect a bronze statue of Sherwood, a picture of which she unveiled Monday.
"Every time it seemed that people said, 'We don't want a statue of a witch,"' said Nash, who has raised about a third of the $92,000 cost. "Well, now she is no longer a statue of a witch."
Virginia never had a witch craze like that in Massachusetts, where 19 colonists were hanged for witchcraft in Salem Town in 1692.
Records survive of 15 witchcraft cases in the Virginia colony in the 1600s, with most ending in acquittals, said Frances Pollard, director of library services at the Virginia Historical Society in Richmond. The latest Virginia witchcraft case was in 1802 in Brooke County, now part of West Virginia.
No one was executed for witchcraft in Virginia, although Katherine Grady was hanged in 1654 aboard a ship bound for Virginia when passengers blamed her for causing a storm, Pollard said.
Sherwood lived in what today is the rural Pungo neighborhood and she's known as "The Witch of Pungo," the name of a children's book by Louisa Venable Kyle. Her story also is told in "Cry Witch," a courtroom drama at Colonial Williamsburg, the recreated 18th-century capital of Virginia.
Sherwood was a tall, good-looking and unconventional woman who grew herbs for medicine, owned prime waterfront property and wore trousers - taboo for women at that time - when she planted crops.
Nash thinks her neighbors were jealous and made up witchcraft tales to get rid of Sherwood, perhaps to take her land.
"Grace just knew too much," she said.
Sherwood actually went to court a dozen times, either to fight witchcraft charges or to sue her accusers for slander, Nash said.
In her final case, she was tried for causing a woman to miscarry. A search of Sherwood's body for marks of the devil uncovered two suspicious moles.
Sherwood then consented to be tried by water.
Records show that in 1714 she paid back taxes on her property. She may have languished in jail until then and been freed when excitement about witches had passed, Nash said.
Monday's re-enactment ceremony was attended by about 60 people and took place in front of the Ferry Plantation House, a historic home where Nash volunteers as director and, dressed in costume, tells visitors about Sherwood.
Nash's daughter, Danielle Sheets, was tied cross-bound, her thumbs to her toes, and placed in a small boat, just as Sherwood would have been.
"I be not a witch. I be a healer," Sheets shouted, in character. "Before this day be through, ye will all get a worse ducking than I."

Shore Leave
I'M BACK!!!!! I have to admit to having a blast!!!! It was so relaxing going with my daughter and Ty and Steph! Great roommates!!!! For once, unlike the last 3 years, NO DRAMA!!!! yipppieeeee
It was fun, we danced, laughed, swam in the pool, shopped and had a really great time!!!!
Oh I do have to tell you, the girl that got "robbed" last year at the con? You know the one I didn't believe, well it "happened again"
This time some other people got robbed, and I saw her and her group at breakfast, laughing, and having fun. Till they heard the other people in the room talking about getting their rooms robbed...... And we all laughed like crazy when 10 minutes later she was at the desk complaining that SHE got robbed too.
Now she was robbed last year, (even though she said on her blog that it was 3 years ago, no it was last year!) not only did the hotel pay for all her meals, and all the meals of her guests, but she got to see some cute cops (she obsesses about cops! Just loves them!!) but at the end of the con, the hotel gave her all the money that was robbed back to her.
I actually believed her, that first time, until later in the day she was spending TONS of cash!!!!!! Cash that she said had been stolen by a "robber"??????? Then I knew that she was pulling one of many scams she played on the hotel over the years..... From dirty rooms, to other things just to get a room free for the night, or sometimes the whole weekend.
Honestly, I would have loved to do some of them myself, everyone would, since getting free meals and stuff is good. But, she does it year after year after year, and the stupid bitch that is the hotel manager hasn't caught on!!!!!!!
I sometimes want to write the hotel and let them know what she's pulling, but I figure if they are so stupid that they can't figure it out.... That every year she has some kind of drama with the hotel, then it's their fault..... And they don't deserve to know about it.
But it's a shame, she says she's HONEST, yet does this year after year. She even lies to herself, along with me and many many others. LOL And I feel for the con artist shit! I'm really ashamed of myself for not seeing thru her, but she's so good at it!!!!
But this year I had fun, no drama, no liar's, no crap, and I'm glad I went and can laugh about this now.
NOT MY PROBLEM, anymore.
but I hope she remembers, what comes around goes around. This is probably why she lost her house. Karma is a bitch!!!!! and it's gonna be bitting her for a long time unless she makes up for it...... but each time she convinces herself that what she did, she deserves.... so she's gonna be getting payback for years and years!!
Thank the goddess I keep my Karma balanced!!!!!!
