Well, my thoughts about going to shore leave have ended!
My son needing additional immunization shots before he's off the Rutgers, put the kabash on it!
Having no health insurance, I have to pay for the shots, and unfortunately they run like $300 a shot. I already paid for one.... and he has 5 more to go. sigh And it all has to be done by the end of July.... so poo!
I know it's silly, but I'm depressed and really upset about not going. I look forward to this every year.... sort of a goal I put to myself.... trying to raise the money to go.... and I did it again this year, but now the money has to go to more important things..... and getting Matt off to Rutgers is MONDO IMPORTANT!!!
I'm not going to cancel the room to the very last minute.... hay, you never know, do ya.... but I'm sure it's a lose, lose situation.
Unless one of my friends offers me a place in their room.... but most of the time they mooch off of me.... so I doubt that will happen.
It's funny, since most of them make triple what I make in a year..... they mooch off of me anyway. giggle!
So don't expect to see me laying by the pool. *sigh*
Somebody promise to squeeze Keven Sorbo's butt for me!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

Selfish People
I'm soooooo tired of self centered selfish people!!!!!
I was cleaning house, when I got a call from one of my friends....Karen is cool. She's sweet, nice, and most of the time interesting.... but I guess I just never noticed a fatal flaw in her. She's self absorbed!
I also noticed that when I talk to her, all I do is ask questions about what SHE said, and bolster her up, and cheer her on.... and so on! I never get a freaking chance to talk about ME! I guess I'm being selfish too, but some times I want to talk about MY problems... and I'm never allowed to do that.
I'm a quiet person, I don't talk much about myself, and now I realize why... NO ONE GIVES ME A CHANCE!!!
Good listener, yep that's me, I'm a great sounding board, and I guess that makes me a non-person.
Even Barb.... If on the wild off chance she asks me about myself... she usually cuts me off in a few seconds to tell me something about her DAUGHTER!! Her daughters dating problems, or work, or so on and so on and so on! Or her garden, and her flowers, and her bills..... you get the picture.
But, back to Karen, she's having trouble getting a mortgage.... who isn't? Duh! It's not like she has a bid in on a house already, she's just getting pre-approved for one..... and I sat there thinking that the last... like, 10 phone calls from her.... were just that, all about her!!!
Never once did she ask me how I was doing, or what was new in my life. Or even ask my opinion!!!! I got things to bitch about too you know!!!!
Her calls start out talking about her problems, and go on and on and on and on..... about the same things!!!! When I do get a few words in.... on the rare occasion, I really don't think she hears me!
I tested that last night. I managed, while she was taking a breath, to say something about Matt going to Monmouth Collage, not Rutgers.... the one he's really going too....
and she didn't react. Didn't say ????? Monmouth???? Nope.... nada, I knew then that when I do talk to her, she's really not hearing me..... and it's a shame!
I think it's time to do a real "house cleaning" and leave behind those who just use me as a sounding board, and try to find some real people who really care about ME.
Maybe that's impossible, but I have to try

Helping spell
Spell for Releasing Ideals
what you need:
Small pieces of paper
heat resistant dish or cauldron
If using cauldron, light the charcoal briquette before you start the spell
Make a circle on the floor and place around the edge of it, ideals, that you have written on paper, that you wish to see working in your life. These could include freedom of speech, fairness in the work place, a new direction in life, and anything else you wish for.
Stand in the center or the circle, and call upon your goddess and the points of east, west, north and south..... then say:
I call upon the powers that be
To release within me, Three times three
The morals that I wish to see
The ideals that will now spring free!
One by one pick up the papers and read aloud the ideals three times each.
Think how you will effect this change in yourself or your world.
Open the circle and gather them, keeping your thoughts on the ideals. Place them one by one in a fire.
As the smoke rises, your power rises to the cause.

Never a full length one!!!!!
3. Have emergency chocolate ready in case of shock

5. Feeling better? I thought so.... now go for it!!!!!

Memorial day
WOW what a crazy holiday weekend!!!!
First, both Matt and I invited friends over for a bar-b-q. Not bad, he just invited 2 and I invited 2.... so nice and calm....RIGHT!
Bought tons of food, and then it all started going downhill! GIGGLE
Matt's friends cancelled, cause they ran out of money (boys!) and didn't have enough to get down here. Then I had to mention the holiday traffic, and my friends cancelled also........
But I was cool with all that. Hay! Any weekend friends come over is a holiday weekend.... and my friend will be over next weekend, and probably Matt's too... so its fun
Matt put some ribs on the grill (that one package of ribs I didn't freeze... all the rest of the food is good for months! giggle), and we pigged out!!!! It's great not having to share food!!! GIGGLE
So, Saturday night I'm sitting in my nightgown, when there's a pounding at the door. Now, you see, usually my friends Brenda and Alan have a memorial day bar-b-q, but they had to go to his parents this year.... so nada
But that didn't stop them!!!!! Here they were, pounding at my door at night, with a ton of sushi!!!!! YEAHHHHHHH SUSHI!!!!
This pic is Alan with ONE of the trays.... there were a ton more. Idiot did the whole sushi chief thing!!!
Funny since he's Jewish, and a doctor... but he does a great impression of an Asian chief... (cross between Kermit the frog, and that weird scientist Muppet!!!) and since Alan who doesn't have a clue how to cook ANYTHING, but boiling lobsters!!!! Thank the goddess he bought the Sushi!!!!
So we sat there and pigged out again!!!! Brenda, who was in a foul mood after spending the day with Alan's parents... had a drink or two or three, and giggled the night way... ahhhhhh stress relief!!!!

I'm soooooo PISSED!!!!!
For as long as I've been here, seaside heights beaches are FREE on Wednesdays and Thursdays!!
Making it very affordable to me, low income lady, cause the parking costs a fortune.... so getting on the beach free is cool!!!
This year they have stopped it. NO FREE DAYS!!!! A lot of people are doing this now, we're in recession, have no money, but they are upping the prices to FUCK WITH US!!
Does that make sense???? People have NO MONEY.... so lets RAISE THE COST OF SHIT!!! JACKASS'S!!!!!
Now, I have to admit, a season pass is only $30 dollars.... and since the beach fee is $5 a day, it's worth it if you go for more then 7 days out of the season.... but still.......
I LIKED FREE!!!

Boys are soooo dumb! GIGGLE
I was outside, laying in the sun, and my son started bothering me....."why don't you do that at the beach?"
Like DUH.
I'm just starting with my sun tan, and because of that I only stay in the sun for about 15-30 minutes, every day or so. I know how to work up to a day at the beach, and I won't do that till I have a nice base coat of tan.
Besides, the gas money to drive to the beach, and the money for parking....WHY? For 15 minutes???? Just not worth it..... Yet
But soon I'll be spending the day down there, and then it's worth the gas and parking money.
My sister no longer suns at the beach...... she says it causes wrinkles? I'm at the beach every day almost during the summer.... and I have almost no wrinkles!!!!
Just to show you, wrinkles come from inside a person, not from the outside. And no matter what anyone says... I LOVE THE SUN, THE BEACH, AND THE TAN!!!!

Spring health
Dandelion Rheumatism Potion
To make a potion to cure rheumatism, begin with half a handful of fresh dandelion leaves. (Please, MAKE SURE THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TREATED WITH ANY WEED KILLER!!!) Put the dandelion leaves in a cup of boiling water, saying:
By power of leaf and herbal charm,
By potion´s strength, relieve all harm.
Pain be gone and joints be free.
As I will, so mote it be.
Infuse for fifteen minutes, adding a clear quartz crystal for the last five. Drink half a cup of the potion daily. Carry the crystal with you, but wash it each time you make a new batch of potion to remove the accrued negativity. After a few months, the dandelion potion will remove the acid deposits that cause the pain of rheumatism.
Dandelion leaves are also great added to a spring salad, though slightly bitter in taste, they are full of vitamins and good things for your body!
Another good tip is to add some leaves, that have been slightly crushed, to a bottle of vodka..... Let sit in the vodka for a week, strain the leaves out, and cap the bottle. A shot of this is the winter is refreshing, and healthy

I got dressed, put on my heavy sweater (it's freeking cold out there!) picked up my purse, and left the house.... heading for my car.......
But, something told me NO, and I wound up walking anyway. But, I'm still out of coffee, and without that I dragged my way all the way there!
I'm glad I did, because I need the exercise, And my WaWa was celebrating their 30th Birthday.... FREE COFFEE.... YIPPPPPIE

Getting CLOSER!!!
I have to tell you, I was very tempted to use the sewing machine that Jamie gave me today!!!
I had an idea, cut out a pattern, and even went and uncovered the sewing machine..... but it wasn't threaded!!!!! Damn!!!
So before the idea disappeared, I got out my trusty needle and thread, and did it by hand.
I'm actually going to try threading the machine, some time this week maybe, and try sewing on it. I swear!!!
But in the mean time, isn't morticia cute in her handmade Star Trek costume!!!!!
She's got her communicator, and her purse, and of course a Knife in her boots..... gotta have something to fend of those HORRIBLE GEEKS!!!!

Now it's Summer
I'm starting to feel summer coming!!!! The last few months have been warm days, few and far between, and cold days more often then not. So summer has felt far, far, away!!
But the days are getting longer, the sun is getting stronger, and the days, at last, are getting warmer!!!!
when I went for my walk this morning, I was thinking about going crabbing, going to the beach, sitting on the warm sand toasting myself....... sigh......sigh..... and at LAST it seems much more then just a winter dream!!! YIPPPPIIIIIIEEEEEE
My garden seemed to take forever to start blooming and growing, but I guess the longer days have taken over and now things are starting to GROW!!!
I LOVE SUMMERTIME!!!!!!

I'm walking, yes in deed, I'm walking
I'm walking!!!!! Yep, me, the woman who hates to walk anywhere!!! Not only that, but the doctors (bless their stupid unknowing brains) said NOT to walk.
Yes, I have bad knees. Really bad knee's.... the kind of knee's that call for heavy medication pain pills.... but I don't take pain pills..... and have refused many doctors, many times, to put me on them!
My opinion: Better to COPE then DOPE!!!
But I decided that even though I have kept up with the vegetarian life style for 2 years.... I needed more. and I promised myself that when the weather warmed up I would walk.
needless to say.... I make a lot of promises to myself! GIGGLE And most don't ever come to bare..... but this time it did.
I started going around the block, then 2 blocks.... then the major one.... I WALKED TO THE WAWA!!!! 7 years here, and I always took the car there!!!
This morning was the 2nd time this week I walked there!!!! I'm soooooo proud of myself I could hug me to pieces!!!! Of course, I should mention that as a reward, I buy myself a candy bar!!! You didn't expect me to be TOO good did you?
Now I'm upping it a bit, and I'm gonna walk 2 times a day around the park. I'm trying not to do too much, don't want to hurt myself and then have to stop.... so I'm taking my time building up the walking.
Eileen once told me.... that she had nightmare of me getting back to my old cute shape.... now I think my shape now is cute.... but she better watch out! All this walking, and boosting my metabolism, I may find that old shape hidden there somewhere.
You gotta understand.... I'm not one of those idiots with weight problems. I have no problem with my weight! I'm fat, and I love it!!!! And so do the men!!! giggle
I've never felt the burning need to loose it all, unlike my sister... who's skinny, but feels she's too fat ALL THE TIME. I see myself in my minds eye as a skinny minnie. giggle. And that's good enough for me!
I don't wear too tight clothing..... like Eileen who's clothing always looks like it 10 sizes too small for her...doesn't she realize that tight clothing only makes you look FAT???? You can be skinny as a bean pole, but if your clothing is so tight the buttons gap.... you look FAT!!
(now, in case you don't see it.... sarcasm is in play about myself.)
I keep myself up, always wear makeup, even if I'm sitting home all day, wear comfortable clothing, and now eating and walking right.
Ohhhhhhhh I'm soooooooo special! giggle
Good think I know how to laugh at myself! giggle, cause I laugh all the time. giggle

Garden protection spell
Now gardeners are beginning to plant their flower and vegetable gardens. After all your hard work, it’s a good idea to protect your garden from pests. Here is a spell that may help without harming any cute but pesky little critters. In a small glass jar, mix about 1/4 cup each of vinegar and olive oil. Add a clove of finely chopped garlic, black pepper, and a dash of cumin. Shake well and let steep for a day. Sprinkle here and there around the edge of the garden plot or borders. End the spell by saying in a strong voice:
Creatures of the land
And creatures which take flight,
This garden is protected
Both day and night.
So mote it be.
Repeat as needed.

Sound like anyone you know????
When I read this, I was shocked, seems I know a few "friends, family, and ex's" like this!!!!!
A psychic vampire is anyone that drains the life
energy or spiritual vitality from another human being.
Psychic vampires take on all manner of shapes and descriptions;
they are co-workers, lovers, strangers, emotional abusers, anyone who saps your vitality can be a psychic vampire.
It is important to be aware of the psychic vampire mind set as this can provide clues as to whether you are a victim of their influence and lowering of spiritual energy.
In many ways psychic vampirism is a personality type and the following list
details 10 attitudes or thought processes which a psychic vampire might
feel toward another human being.
1. My happiness is more important than your happiness. You are responsible for
my happiness.
2. My needs are the most important needs; your emotions exist to serve mine.
I will take from you until there is nothing left to take, and then I will
Grow angry when I cannot receive what I desire from you.
3. You are only necessary in that you supply me with energy and support. In the
end I will make sure that you aware of just how unnecessary you are.
4. My life is the only life with meaning and value. All others exist only to
support mine.
5. I will use whatever means I can to take what is mine. Your energy is mine
for the taking.
6. I am not responsible for my own spiritual energy. You are responsible for
sustaining me.
7. I take from you because you have allowed it.
8. I will support you inasmuch as I would support a herd of cattle or the
growth of a crop.
9. I have no emotional attachment or investment in you as a
person.
10.You are a means to an end.
Notice the recurring themes of domination, control and dependence. Psychic
vampires depend on others for their energy; they feed off of the spiritual energy of those around them and often look for individuals with an originally
heightened sense of spiritual worth and vitality.
Such individuals are highly sought after by the psychic vampire as they provide a stable source of life energy to drain.

Familiar's
A Familiar is an animal that lives with the witch and assists him/her in
magickal works.
It may or may not be your Totem Animal. Traditionally cats
are associate with witches. Other animals, like dogs, rabbits, horses, mice
and snakes can be familiars too. (Some urban witches have birds, squirrel
and even cockroaches as familiars).. A familiar represents all the good
qualities of that animal and is attune to the witch. It provides the witch
with a link to the animal kingdom and the essence of their power.
Since time began animals have been revered and worshiped as spirits of
nature, known to the ancients as power animals or the animal guides of the
Gods. Many animals therefore became associated with various deities, such
like: Diana and the Hound, Hecate and the Toad, Proserpina and the Raven,
Pan with the Goat and Athena with the Owl. Most other deities in one way or
another became associated with animals. The ancients believed animals were
closer to nature than humans, and would perform rituals and make offerings
to their spirits in attempts to communicate with them.
Old shamans believed that all things and beings, particularly animals, were
possessed of a spirit or soul, and that one could attract parts of their
soul, thus their spirit and powers with mimicry. To achieve this they
dressed in appropriate animal furs and feathers or wore horns and fierce
looking masks while performing dance and imitating their antics. The novice
shaman would acquire his animal spirits on completion of his initiation.
These he would send out on errands or to do battle on his behalf, however if
they failed or died, then so too did the shaman. The shaman would keep and
use the same animal spirits until his death, upon which time they would
disappear or be passed on to aid his apprentice.
Given the animal kingdoms intimate relationship with nature, its not
surprising that witches as they evolved should adopt certain animals as
their own link to nature, spirits and deities. Wise men and women commonly
used animals, while wizards, magicians and village healers used them to
diagnose illnesses, sources of bewitchment, divination and to find lost
property or treasure.
It was not until the Middle Ages and the rise of Christianity that the
witches pets and animals became thought of as agents of evil. As the
persecution of witches began, so the church started teaching the concept
that the Witches´ familiar was an associate of the Christian devil. They
became demons and evil spirits in animal form, sent out by the witch to do
their nasty bidding. They also believed witches possessed the power to
transform themselves into animals, in which guise they committed any number
of diabolical deeds. Later they were believed to use animal products in
spells, making potions and concoctions to aid transformation, gain power
over nature, or even to harm and kill.
The most common animals associated with witchcraft were the: Frog, Owl,
Serpent, Pig, Raven, Stag, Goat, Wolf, Dog, Horse, Bat, Mouse and of course
the Cat, though virtually any animal, reptile or insect would be suspect.
Obsession with the witches familiar was most prevalent in England and
Scotland and was mentioned in numerous trial records of the period,
particularly those related to "Matthew Hopkins", the infamous Witch Finder
General
According to the ancient Witchcraft Act of 1604, it was a felony to:
"consult, covenant with, entertain, employ, feed or reward any evil or
wicked spirit to or for any intent or purpose", an act that Hopkins used
with zeal when extracting confessions. He also used the "Malleus
Malificarum" the so-called Inquisitor´s Handbook.
Though it offers no
instruction concerning familiars in the interrogation and trial of witches,
it does acknowledge that an animal familiar "always works with the witch in
everything". As such it advises the inquisitor never to leave a witch
prisoner alone, "or the devil will cause him or her to kill themselves,
accomplished through a familiar". This in mind Hopkins would tie the witch
up in a cell and leave them alone, while watching secretly for their arrival
If so much of as a fly or beetle approached them, it was deemed proof
enough that they were indeed witches.
Today in contemporary witchcraft any thoughts of animals as "demonic spirits
of evil" has been left by the way side, though many modern witches still use
animals when working with magick utilizing their primordial instincts and
psychic abilities to attune with nature and deities. Animals are sensitive
to psychic power and vibrations, and are welcomed into the magick circle
when power is being raised or spells are being cast. They are also used to
aid scrying, divination and spirit contact. When working with magick
animals act as a guard in psychic defence for they react visibly to negative
forces and harmful energy.
Perhaps the most famous of contemporary witches to keep a familiar was Sybil
Leek and her pet jackdaw named "Mr. Hotfoot Jackson". Sybil was a
hereditary witch with a long lineage going back to the witches of southern
Ireland in 1134, but her choice of a pet jackdaw bears an uncanny
relationship to one particular ancestor called Molly Leigh:
Molly Leigh
As the story goes, Molly was born in 1685 and lived in a cottage on the edge
of the moors at Burslem near Stoke-on-Trent. Molly was a solitary character
who never married; she talked to the animals and kept a pet Jackdaw. She
made her living selling milk from a herd of cows to travelers and passers-by
An eccentric person, the Jackdaw was often seen perched on her shoulder as
she delivered milk to the dairy in Burslem.
Molly was known for her quick temper and the people of Burslem were
suspicious and frightened of her. This was not uncommon in those times, for
throughout the country `women´ and particularly elderly women who lived on
their own in remote places, were labeled as witches.
In Molly´s case it was the local vicar the Rev. Spencer who made witchcraft
accusations against her. He claimed that Molly sent her Jackdaw to sit on
the sign of the Turk´s Head pub, a pub that the vicar frequently visited,
and when it did the beer turned sour. She was also blamed for other
ailments suffered by numerous townsfolk.
Molly died in 1746 and was buried in the Burslem churchyard, but then many
claimed that her ghost haunted the town. A short time after her burial, the
Rev. Spencer along with clerics from Stoke, Wolstanton and Newcastle went to
open her cottage and retrieve her pet Jackdaw. When they arrived they were
shocked to see Molly (or an apparition of her), sitting in a favourite
armchair knitting with her pet Jackdaw perched on her shoulders (just as she
had often been seen in real life). Frightened, the vicar and others
returned to the graveyard and reopened her grave. They drove a stake
through her heart and threw the living Jackdaw into the coffin. The vicar
then decreed that as she was a witch, she would not rest easy until her body
was buried lying North to South. To this day, Molly's tomb is the only one
that lies at right angles to all the other graves in the churchyard.
Many believe that an animal familiar is not acquired through personal choice
more that an animal will choose you as its guardian and companion. One
cannot go down to the local pet-shop and choose a familiar simply on its
symbolic significances: "I shall take an Owl for Wisdom, a Dove for Peace
and a Spider for Imagination and Creativity". Sorry, but that won´t work.
Animals have their own in-built wisdom and intelligence, their own spirit
and skills, and a bond needs to be made with them if they are to volunteer
to work as your familiar. Most often the animal itself will let you know
when this has been achieved.
Generally there are four different kinds of animal familiar. The first is
our physical everyday live-in pets, most commonly the cat or dog. As with
all our other family members an instinctive bond and psychic link is created
over time. Silent communication of their needs exists and instinctively we
know if they are happy or sad, hungry, hurting or in need of attention.
They in turn reciprocate and adapt themselves to our life styles,
intuitively they attune to our mood swings and circumstantial changes.
The second type of familiar is an imaginative creature, one you can closely
identify with but never hope to own such like a lion, tiger or leopard.
This is an animal whose characteristics you admire, and you may collect and
hang pictures of it in your home. It resided in the astral plane and
because of your intense liking for it; you consciously or unconsciously
attract its aid. It´s said that deceased pets with which you had an
affinity return in this capacity.
The third type of familiar is magickal, an elemental spirit. Witches and
Magicians often call upon elemental spirits for aid when working with magick
When making talismans or amulets for specific purposes, they may call upon
a particular familiar elemental to inhabit an object to enhance its effect.
It is believed the Paracelsus; a medical academic (1493-1541) instilled such
a familiar into a large precious stone on the pommel of his ritual sword.
The fourth familiar is the spirit of a human being, someone who has died.
Many adept magicians will command the appearance of a human spirit but such
spirits are hard to control, for instance, a spirit who has been commanded
against his or her desires can be troublesome, in which case you need to be
sure of your ability to get rid of them and this can be much more difficult
than the original calling. Those spirits willing to act as our astral
guides or teachers are commonly called `Guardian Angels´.
The most effective familiars tend not to be our domesticated pets, for due
to their life expectancy our pets come and go, though the spirit of a
deceased pet can still be used. The use of our domestic animals as
familiars is merely a stepping-stone to the raw power and energy of wild
animals that are much closer to nature; for instance, a domestic dog is a
softened version of its wild counterpart the fox, wolf, coyote and other
wild canine creatures. Similarly a domestic cat can be linked to other wild
felines such like lions, tigers and leopards.
Many witches and magicians
start with a domesticated animal as a familiar in the hope that one day they
will be able to handle and work more effectively with its true power form,
the wild animals of nature.

Binding spells
Binding Magic
From N.S. Gill's Ancient/Classical History
Definition: The ancient Greeks and Romans used two basic types of binding
magic to do something to someone else. Generally, this someone had wronged
them or it was someone whose love they wished to keep. A famous instance of
binding magic gone horribly wrong is when Deianeira gave Hercules the tunic
soaked in poisoned centaur blood thinking it would keep her husband faithful
to her.
One type of binding magic is the binding spell or curse, written, rolled or
folded, and sometimes pierced, and the other is the figurine, erotic or
otherwise, that may also be pierced or twisted or bound.
Binding spells can be written on such substrate as potsherds, limestone,
gems, papyrus, wax, or ceramic as well as the preferred lead. There may be a
connection between binding magic and ostracism.
The names of the victims (don't like to use "victims", but it's sorta true) are written in the subject or object case probably to show the person is being acted upon by the binding.
There may be a verb of binding, like katadein, in the 1st person,
so the curse tablet reads, "[So and so] I bind, her [body part/s]...."
Source: Derek Collins Magic in the Ancient Greek World.
Also Known As: The Greek term for the binding curse is katadesmos or in the
plural, katedosmoi. The Latin term for the spell written on a tablet is
defixio or in the plural, defixiones.
Examples: The most commonly invoked gods for binding magic were gods and
goddesses with an Underworld connection, Hecate, Persephone, and Hermes,
although the other gods and goddesses could bind and even Zeus could be
bound metaphorically or literally.
Binding spells are crafted to stop a specific energy or person. They can be
used against those that are hurting you, someone you care for or those that
are hurting themselves, whether the reason be intentional or not.
While they are often considered a dark art, I find this completely false,
and believe strongly in freedom to practice as one wills and pass no
judgement til thy have walked in ones shoes.
HOWEVER I do advise that one use them wisely and with caution, as they
easily can backfire in your face. They are probably not the best of spells
to start off with, as when one begins they are not strong enough to protect
themselves from a stronger power.
When crafted correctly they can become quite a powerful ally in your arsenal
Hecate Binding Spell
A poppet to represent the person you wish to bind; Patchouli leaves ;
Frankincense;
Charcoal block; Black candle; Red ribbon; White cloth
Make a poppet to represent the person you wish to bind.
Burn patchouli leaves and frankincense on a charcoal block.
Light a black candle and pass the poppet through the incense smoke saying:
Hecate, great Goddess of life and death,
I ask you to acknowledge that this Creation of cloth be known as Flesh and
blood of (name).
Wrap the poppet tightly in red ribbon, paying close attention to the area
you wish to bind,
i.e.: the genitals of a rapist, the mouth of a slanderer. As you wrap, say:
"Between the worlds in Hecate's eyes you (name) are bound powerless.
In the eyes of this world, you are harmless. "
Imagine a heavy net made from a white light. Imagine the net clinging to the
poppet. Wrap it in a piece of white cloth and bury it close to the person's
house
Candle binding
Get a large white candle, the kind that drips wax, and set it up on a tray.
Affix it to a photograph or other image of the person you wish to bind.
Make a ring of sea salt around it.
Make a second ring with protective herbs.
Fill the rest of the tray with images that represent what you are binding
the person from: pictures of your family, keys to your house, legal
documents, whatever.
If the problem is too complex for images, write what the person is bound
from on slips of paper and place them around the candle. Papyrus, or paper
made from cotton or linen work best for this.
Use red ink if you are angry, purple ink if you are sad.
Wrap the candle and the image with black thread. Invoke Isis and Linda, the
Binder with Linen Thread.
Say out loud what you are binding the person from.
Light the candle and leave it to burn until the wax begins to drip over the
thread and image.
Burn it every day for a week, until the image is thick with wax.
Use this as a meditation device to direct your will to binding the person.

Rain, rain, and then more rain
This weather is horrible. So much rain, it's driving me nuts! GIGGLE But, I did manage to brave the weather and go to Lowe's this morning for some flowers.
It may be dark, and gloomy, but my garden has color!
