Ass Backwards

You know, sometimes I wonder about myself. Half the time I do things ass backwards, and it piss's me off! Giggle

Like now, the "check engine" light came on in my car about a month ago. I took it to the dealership, right away, just to find that it was the sensor that broke, and there was nothing wrong with the car.

Did I get it fixed, hell no! Who cares if the little light is on, as long as the cars OK, so I ignored it.


Then (play slow sad music) I had to get my car inspected, forgetting about the little light. And "TADA" it FAILED!!! Because of the little light of course.

So now, I'm a good girl, run down the dealers and get the light fixed. $300 bucks later, and hours and hours sitting in the stupid waiting room..... light fixed.

Then they inform me that when they replaced the sensor, it reset the whole computer in the car.....



and I have to drive around for 1 or 2 weeks to reset it, or when I went for inspection, it would fail because of "no information" reading. Not a problem, since you have 45 days to get a failed inspection re-inspected, but a bitch anyway......BECAUSE IF I HAD GOTTEN THE LIGHT FIXED FIRST........ LIKE I SHOULD HAVE...... I WOULD HAVE PASSED INSPECTION LIKE A DREAM!!!

Another semister starts

Tomorrow another collage semester starts up. This one is full of pro's and con's.



No evenings, good. (PRO). I hate driving in the dark, and it's a pain in the ass.



As a matter of fact all the classes start at 8am. Good, (PRO), means parking there will be easy, and I'll have more choice's where to park.



All the classes, except one, are only a few hours long, so I won't be waisting gas riding back and forth except for that one day. Big (PRO)



But the others range from an hour class to a four hour class, (CON), that means that I have to sit in the car and wait for him. It's cold, and fucking boring. I'll freeze my ass off for 1-4 hours depending on the day.



Yes, I can run to the local stores and walk around, (CON), that costs me money, but it's warm!



I usually sit and read for those hours, read, freeze, and sometimes even sleep.... but it BORING!!!!!!



At least it will start getting warm in the later months. Hopefully.



And hopefully I wont get pneumonia from sitting there without heat. Hay, the purpose of saving gas is that I don't run the car to keep warm. If I run the car it's like I was driving back and forth.



You know the bitch? As soon as he finishes collage, gas prices with probably go waaaaaaay down again!!!!

Hummmm getting summer ready?

I can't help it!!! I am SO DONE WITH WINTER!!!!

I'm realy hoping this summer that some of my friends will take the fact that my house is so close to the beach, and plan to come down for more then a weekend. Maybe for thier summer vacation.

This morning I was thinking that I had to start getting my stuff ready for summer.

I have to get out the crab nets, and check them out, make sure they are all ready. And the awning and cushions for my swing are still in the shed.

I'm trying to think of a way of adding some privacy to my patio, and I think I have an idea about that.


I'm thinking 3 large half barrel planters, behind the swing, spread apart, but in a row....... and add a large 8 foot piece of lattice work attached to the barrels. This way I can grow tomatoes and peas, and such in the barrels, and they should cover the whole trellis. I know the lattice is only 4 feet high, but it will be attached to the TOP of the barrels.... and that will add about 3 feet!

I can attach the lattice with steaks nailed right into the barrels.



Why? because I like to lay on my swing and tan, but I feel to exposed to the house next to me to do that. The trellis should help screen me, yet not be a fence, so they can't complain. What do you think?

Merlin's buddy

Merlin has a good buddy. This is Dracoes.


I bought him about 20 years ago for my mom. And she kept him on her breezeway all those years. When she died I brought him home and placed him in a warm spot next to the TV.



Even though he's made of cement, and weighs like 30 pounds, Merlin thinks he's the BEST THING EVER! They sit together most of the day, Merlin rubbing up against Dracoes, and then sitting and communing with him for hours.



When Merlin is upset, or mad at us, off to Dracoes he goes. Sometimes I think they are plotting revenge against us.... GIGGLE... but most of the time I think they just sit, talk, and complain about how we treat them. GIGGLE

WOW That feels better!!!



The clumps of tall stripped grass I have in the yard, it's called "Zebra" Grass.


Well, it has to be cut down low around mid winter. Why so late, mostly because the Plume's are so pretty in the winter. Tall and feathery, nice to look at and with the wind, it's like watching the ocean waves.


But, Mid winter it should be cut down, to encourage new growth this spring.



And since it's 65 degree's here!!! Warm and sunny!!!!! So I took that as encouragement to go out and cut the zebra grass, get a little sun, and some air!!!


Because you all know that winter is NOT OVER!!!


But, I feel better. May not last long since there are still 3 or more months of winter to come, but it relieved a lot of stress. Those tall grass stalks are HARD TO CUT! It's like cutting down a fucking tree!!!





But it sure helped with my cabin fever. I feel better now that I have touched a plant, and did some work.


Winters are hard for me, because I can't connect to the Earth. Something a witch like me needs to do often!!!

I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!

I was in my calm winter mode. Sitting on the couch, cuddling with the kitty, keeping warm, and doing chores around the house.


Then, cue the music, (dum dum du dum) My first spring gardening catalogs showed up!!!!!!


NOW I'M BOARD, BOARD, BOARD, BOARD!!!!! I wanna go OUTSIDE!!! I WANT THE SUN, AND EARTH, AND PLANTING, AND DIGGING............ARHHHHHHHHHHHHHGHHHHHHHHH!!!


I love this time of the year, and hate it at the same time. All I can do is look at the pretty plants, I CAN'T TOUCH THEM!!!!!!!!! It's too cold to putter, and to ucky to even think of it. I cleaned everything in the house I could reach, and there is nothing left to do!!!!!!!!! DRATS!!!!!
