I HATE JUNE!
I HATE JUNE, I really do!
For so many reasons, even though it's just a few days away, I can feel the hate for June building.... and I know I'm going to be depressed, pissy, and board!!!
Why do I hate June?
It's when school ends, and the kids will be home for summer
All my garden work is done, in June all you do is water and watch
Spring is over, and the heat starts building
The Bennie's come back to the shore, making getting around a pain in my ass
My hubby died in June
My mother died in June
Morganna had her stroke in June
My mother married my jerk of a step father in June
I have to get thru ANOTHER month before Shore Leave
I broke up with Patrick in June......................................................
and I can go on and on with shit that happens in June!!!!!!
Lets just say, June and I will never get along, and I wish I could skip the month all together!!!!
So, if I get pissy and rant on my blog a lot, you know the reasons for it, and you'll just have to excuse me!

Behind the owl is one of my gooseberry plants... loaded with fruit!!! Sweeten someones view of you!
This spell is make someone, or some people have a sweetened view of you.
Like if you have a court case, and want the judge to favor you... Or if it's a group of people at work, or just one person... say your boss.... any time you want people to like you more.
You will need:
a jar of honey
a piece of paper
a pen or pencil
optional herbs
a candle (choose the appropriate colour for the person your doing the spell on)
a small jar of honey, make sure it has a metal lid.
You can buy the honey in a pint-size glass Mason jar or pour the honey of your choice into a jar in your own at home.
All that matters is that it should be a short, squat jar with a metal lid, filled up to the shoulder of the jar.
Prepare your paper by tearing it neatly on all four sides so there is no machine-cut edge. No cut edges
Once you have got your paper together, write the person's name three times on it, one name under the other like so:
Bill Brown
Bill Brown
Bill Brown
for a bigger group:
court
court
court
or work, and so on
Then rotate the paper 90 degrees clockwise and write your own name across the person's name, also three times:
Mary Smith
Mary Smith
Mary Smith
The result will be that the two names are crossed over each other, like a cross or a tic-tac-toe grid, and the other person's name will be under yours.
This is called crossing and covering their name. If the sweetening is being done for love, you can use a red ink pen. Otherwise, the colour of the ink does not matter, and you can just as easily use a pencil.
Now all around the crossed names, write your specific wish in a circle.
You must write your wish in one continuous run of script letters, with no spaces -- AND WITHOUT LIFTING YOUR PEN FROM THE PAPER.
Do not cross your t's or dot your i's.
Just write the words in one run and be sure to join up the end of the last word with the beginning of the first word so the circle is complete.
Then you can go back and cross your t's and dot your i's.
Write in the form of short commands, such as "help me favour me help me favour me" or "love me love me love me" or "forgive me come back forgive me come back."
If you make a mistake -- for instance, if you lift your pen in the middle of writing your circle -- throw away the paper and start it all over again. You want it to be perfect.
Other ingredients can be added to the name-paper if you wish
two rose petals for a love spell,
a lump of sugar for a family member,
two clove buds for friendship,
bayberry root
sassafras root for a money spell,
two small Lodestones for sexuality,
pinch of deer's tongue leaves for a proposal of marriage,
square of camphor for cleaning out bad things of the past, and so forth.
If you are sweetening someone for love, then in addition to the name-paper and whatever optional herbs, roots, or minerals you choose, you must also get one of the person's hairs and one of your hairs.
If the hairs are long enough, tie them together. Otherwise, just lay them crosswise to each other.
In either case, place them on the paper. (if you can't get close enough to them to get a hair... then a love spell won't work!) but just to sweeten how they look and feel for you, there is no need for a hair, Having a picture of him or her may help a little in place of a hair.
Fold the paper toward you to bring what you want your way and speak aloud your wish as you do so.
Turn the paper and fold it again, and again, always folding toward you, to bring what you want your way.
Say aloud your wish each time you fold the paper toward you. Fold it until it will not fold any more.
Open the jar of honey or syrup. To make room for the folded paper packet, you will need to eat some of the contents.
Take out a spoon's worth, and as you eat it, say, "As this honey is sweet to me, so will I become sweet to (the name of the person you are working this on)."
You can do this three times, taking out three small spoonful of Honey and speaking your wish aloud each time.
Push the folded paper packet down into the jar and close up the lid.
Use a white candle for general blessing and healing,
a red one for sexual love,
a pink one for reconciliation,
a brown one for a court case
(if you don't want to spend all day waiting for a candle to burn out, try using smaller candle's or even birthday cake candle's)
Stand the candle on the lid of the closed-up jar and light it. You can melt the candle to the lid with hot wax if need be.
Let the candle burn all the way out.
Do this every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for as long as it takes.

Fairy fly
Are fairy's just like butterfly's?
Who live in summer, comes winter dies?
Do their wings go slow and lazy thru the sky's?
Or like hummingbirds do they whiz by?
Are fairy's colors autumn bright?
Or green to hide in springs delight?
Do they fly so fancy free?
Or fight and worry like you and me?
No matter what, I watch the sky's,
to dream I could see a fairy fly!

Another trick for Convention Life
This is a 2 lb can of coffee, there is no coffee in it, nor has been there been coffee in it for the last 5 years!!! I used the coffee, and washed out and kept the plastic can...
why??? Here's why!
It's BIG, top screw closed, and has a built in handle to carry it! I think only folgers makes them... but you can look around and see if others do.
What do I do with it, if I don't use it for coffee???
Here's what I do, 3 or 4 weeks before a convention, I take down the plastic can, and wash it. Then comes the interesting part.
1. 1 Large jar of maraschino Cherry's, drained and washed
2. 2 cans of pineapple chunks... CHUNKS, not rings or crushed, CHUNKS... these you don't drain or rinse and you use the juice of only 1 can!!!! Not both cans, just one!
3. A large container of yellow or red grapes, as long as they are seedless.... you break them off in Bunche's... leaving the branches on, but discarding the thick main branch. The branches have to be left on! Believe me... you'll understand.
Now fill up the container with the grapes, cherry's and the pineapple till it's packed all the way up to the top.
Now here's the good part
Add enough Vodka to cover it all up.... yep, pure, plain vodka... cheap stuff works best.
Then screw on the cap, and put it in the refrigerator, and keep it there till the day you leave for the convention.
See, the grape stems serve as a wick... pulling the vodka into the grapes!!! Smart huh???
Now the day of the convention, or the day you are leaving, or even the day before, so you don't forget it.....
Pour the vodka out... back into the bottle.... and there you got it.
It's been soaking up all the goodness, and you discard the weight of the liquid, and you got pure vodka fruit!!!! The can is easy to carry with the handle built in, and with out the liquid, it's quite light.
It's great for sitting by the pool and munching, or party's in your room, or just to munch while your waiting to go to the pool or party. GIGGLE
The fruit is quite strong, but not as strong as drinking just plain vodka.... so you can munch and enjoy without getting..... TOO DRUNK!

I want Capt. Jack!!! *stamping my foot, and pouting*
The doll company that I buy my dolls from, now has a Dr. Who, and a Capt. Jack Harkness doll!!!!!!!
Of course, NOW, I'm broke, and can't afford them..... well, just one.... wanted the Capt. Jack doll.....but I don't have the money now!!!
Took them over a year to get permission from BBC to sell them..... I had the money then.... but it's long gone.... sigh
I've begged and pleaded with the "Money Fairy" to visit me.... I've even tried to bribe him with food and drink.... but no luck. The money fairy is a meanie!!!!! sigh
I should add, these are not 5" dolls!!! they are 17" tall, totaly dress, and posable. I think about 23 points of articulation!!!!

HERBAL OILS: INFUSED VS. ESSENTIAL
I make and use many infused herbal oils. I use little or no essential oils. Why?
Infused herbal oils use a small amount of plant material; essential oils require tons of plant material.
Infused herbal oils are safe to use internally or externally;
essential oils are poisonous internally and problematic externally.
Infused herbal oils are good for the skin;
essential oils can cause rashes, burns, and other skin reactions.
Infused oils are used full strength;
essential oils are diluted before use.
Infused herbal oils have subtle scents;
essential oils have powerful scents.
The scent of an essential oil can kill gut flora just like antibiotics do.
Breathing the oils puts them into the blood stream very quickly and can be a major disturber of intestinal health and contributor to poor immune functioning.
Massage therapists are embracing Natural Scent Therapies such as growing live aromatic plants in their treatment rooms and using pillows of dried aromatic herbs instead of essential oils. Their skin and their immune systems are thanking them for the switch.
MAKING INFUSED HERBAL OILS
To make an infused herbal oil you will need the following supplies:
• Fresh plant material
• Scissors or a knife
• A clean dry jar with a tight lid
• Some olive oil (DO NOT HEAT OIL!)
• A label and pen; a small bowl
Harvest your plant material in the heat of the day, after the sun has dried the dew. It is best to wait at least 36 hours after the last rain before harvesting plants for infused oils. Wet plant materials will make moldy oils.
Coarsely chop the roots, leaves, or flowers of your chosen plant. Fill your jar completely full of the chopped plant material.
Add olive oil until the jar is completely full. (Patience and a chopstick are useful tools at this point.)
Tightly lid the jar. Label it. Put it in a small bowl (to collect seepage and over-runs).
Your infused oil is ready to use in six weeks.
You can then strain it using cheese cloth, or leave the herbs in it. But if your going to store it for a while, please remove all the herbs so they don't rot and contaminate your oil!
Fresh Plants That can used to Make Infused Oils, always check first to see if your allergic to them, small dot of oil rubbed on your arm, and wait a day and see if anything happens.
Arnica flowers
Burdock seeds
Calendula flowers
Comfrey leaves or roots
Dandelion flowers
Plantain leaves
Poke roots
Spruce needles
St. Joan's wort flowers
Yarrow blossoms
Yellow dock roots
Sage
basil
Parsley (this reduces swelling)
Rosemary
Raspberry leaves
USING YOUR INFUSED HERBAL OILS
I use my infused herbal oils to heal and ease the pain of wounds, bruises, scrapes, sprains, burns, rashes, sore muscles, insect bites, and aching joints.
I make my infused oils into ointments, salves, and lip balms. I use my infused oils in rituals, to anoint. I use my infused oils after bathing, moisturize, sexual lubricants, nourish my scalp and hair.
I apply my infused herbal oils directly to the body. I rarely take infused herbal oils as internal medicines although it would be safe, since you would never use toxic herbs, to do so. I use my infused oils to make salves, ointments, and lip balms.

WARNING
I follow quite a few blogs, and recently (today) one very famous blog
(I won't name it, but I know some of you read it)
posted about making herbal oils, some eatable.... cool, yes.
But she HEATED THE OIL AND HERBS!!! Before storing them!!!
NEVER, EVER, NEVER DO THIS!!!! I can cause all kinds of intestinal problems, including botulism!!!!
It breaks down the oil, and it will go south very fast.... and you will never know it!!!!
If you are going to infuse herbs into oils, you MUST DO IT COLD!!! NO HEAT!!!
Put the herb in a sealed room temp bottle of oil... such as olive oil etc, and let it soak up for a week, then filter and put back in bottle.
SUPER HEALTH HAZARD IT YOU HEAT IT, THEN STORE IT!!
Sorry, I didn't want to leave a post on her blog, she's quite a huge blogger, and has a large following so I didn't want to embarrass her,
but I had to let my friends know that it is a death trap doing it the way she says to do it!!!!

star trek fun
My friend Mike (he's the Frengi in the middle) found these old pictures of us at a Star Trek convention.... yeeeeeeears ago. (at least 20 years!)
But, since I'm getting ready for a new convention in July, I just had to post them for everyone to enjoy.
Yes, I'm the klingon on the left, then mike, then donna.
We won 3 awards for our costumes and act!!!!!
I was so happy to see these pics, memory's, memory's......
And I'd like to point out, I'm HALF the woman I was back then!!!!

NOW..... spring is really here
I consider this to be the real start of spring!!!
It was warm enough to go crabbing!!!!!
I got up EARLY, and by 6am I was sitting on the dock, at the oceans bay, and baiting my crab nets!!!
I know it's really too early for crabbing... they love the warmer water.... but I couldn't help myself!!! The winter was too cold, and snowy and wet, I just had to get some SEA AIR!!!
I sat, and watched the waves, and talked to the Sea Gulls, and crabbed my little heart out!!!
Of course, this isn't the real picture of my catch.... I only got 4 crabs... but they are perfect for an afternoon munch to celebrate spring!!!!
I put all my crab gear in the van last week, so all I had to do this morning was get in the car and go.
The dock I crab at has a store and snack bar... so after buying some fishie bait, and grabbing a hot cup of coffee..... ahhhhhhhhhhhh peace!!!!!

Undoing what has been done!
SPELL TO UNDO A SPELL
Time: After Midnight any night, waning moon
Incense: benzoin Herb: angelica
Anoint candles with rosemary oil use white candles as many as you like.
You Need: one bead from a necklace you own (preferably a pearl-faux or not)
A small patch of black cloth, some string for tying.
Incantation:
"I cast a spell asking , I now ask the favor of having the spell removed.
I understand to take back a spell means giving up something of my own to show my spirit is true and my intentions are good, I give this pearl/bead from a necklace I own.
I transfer the spell into the and render the spell dormant.
No harm may come from the cancellation of this spell.
No further power shall it have. This is my will -so be it." Place the
pearl/bead in the black cloth - add your angelica herbs -
tie up tightly in the string until you have wrapped the pearl/bead entirely in the cloth.
Dribble a bit of wax from the candles on your final knot you tie and
Then throw the small package away far from your home. Close circle and give thanks.
SPELL FOR BREAKING A LOVE CURSE
If you think you have been cursed, and that is why you are unlucky in love,
you need to make a supplication to Aphrodite, asking her to intervene.
This supplication should be done on a Thursday evening at dusk.
Light a purple candle and a pink one.
Burn 7 pine needles in a bowl or brazier.
Offer the goddess three red roses, 1 for each stage of a woman's life (Maiden, Mother and Crone).
Then ask her to bless you in love and to break any curse that may exist.
Pour your heart out to her. Ask forgiveness for any and every thing you have ever
done to hurt another who loved you. Offer to make amends by doing something in Aphrodite's name.
Make a commitment to showering your future partners with love and romance.
Vow never to be unfaithful, etc. Be respectful when addressing Aphrodite and be honest.
Do not make empty promises or break the ones you make. If you say you will do something, do it.
If you do not, you may not like the result. There is no spell for this one, no incantation.
You simply speak from the heart and if you are sincere, she will answer.
Aphrodite can be a generous, loving goddess, guiding us towards bliss.
Or she can be a vengeful harridan.
Be warned, if the reason you are "unlucky" is because you have been unfaithful, abusive, cruel, or otherwise wasteful of Love's gifts, you will face her wrath unless you agree to immediately change your ways, and then do so.
SPELL FOR SENDING BAD STUFF AWAY
To the Goddess, I do pray
Grant me power, strength to flay
This one's curse,
With these words, I hold thee at bay.
