FRIENDSHIP SPELLS
SPELL FOR NEW FRIENDSHIP
Inscribe a pink candle with your name, then anoint the rose quartz with sunflower oil. Light the candle. Hold the stone in your hand, and visualize friendships coming your way and a new relationships forming.
Chant three times
open mind, and gain new life,
gone from you, all stress and strife.
open heart, gain life anew.
accept all love that's offered you.
positive thought and word and deed.
enter now, of bane I'm freed
ancient, hear me---grant my plea
to new relationships, open me.
place the stone by the candle, and leave it there until the candle burns down.
carry the stone with you.
THE FRIENDSHIP SPELL
You will need:
A pink candle/red candle (Pink for friendship
A piece of paper (pink)
A pen (Any color ink is fine but it is advisable to use pink for friendship
Some rose incense
The spell: This spell must take three days to perform and is best if done at night.
You may wish to wear something pink
The first part of the spell is to find a room that is dimly lit and begin the spell by first lighting the candle and incense. Close your eyes and meditate, inhale the sweet smell of the rose incense, feeling as if you are totally surrounded by roses.
Totally relax yourself and free yourself from tension
After feeling totally relaxed, take the piece of paper and the pen and write down what you want your friend to be, write everything down. Think about what you want his/her character to be and write everything down.
Concentrate hard on these characteristics and tell yourself that there is such
a perfect person in the world.
Once you think that you have listed everything, look deep into the candle flame of the pink candle and meditate hard on this person you wish to conjure up. Then before you end the spell, repeat this incantation:
''I conjure thee, I conjure thee
I am the queen, you are the bee
As I desire, so mote it be!"
Perform this spell for three consecutive nights to see if you have any more things you wish to add to that list.
On the third night repeat the same procedure, only that at the end of the spell
you use the flame from the pink candle and burn the whole paper and leave the paper in a bowl to cool.
Then drop three drops of wax on the ashes and spiritually cleanse the ash
by waving rose incense over it.
Right after, take a small pouch and empty the ash into the pouch.
Then fill the pouch with a mixture of white and pink rose petals and leaves.
Carry the small pouch with you wherever you are to attract this friend you conjured
into your life.

Another thing is.....
My counter tops! Tired old, boring, and not much more can be said for them.
I've been reading up on "painting" your counter tops!
This would be very easy because.... this is it folks.... My whole counter top, except for a tiny spot next to the stove, and one tiny spot next to the Fridge.....I have a tiny kitchen..... works for me since I DON'T COOK!
I could buy a new counter top, but that entails getting a plumber to remove, and re hook up the sink.... and sometimes it's just not worth it.
The only problem I have is the weird edge. Do I fill it in with putty before painting, do I just remove it or do I paint the whole thing..... or just the strip of white between the two pieces of wood????
I'm not sure what to do. But I'm thinking if I re-do the counter top, then maybe the cabinets would look better.... and I won't have to paint them!
HELP!!!!

Making a list of Fall and winter projects!
I love my new bedspread, but I'm getting tired of my old head board. Thinking something new my be needed!
I'm also thinking of getting rid of the "top" of the china cabinet! I don't know why, but the clutter is driving me nutso! And re-staining the bottom a darker color.... Like cherry??? Same goes for re staining the dinning room table and chairs the same color!
This T.V. stand has gotta go!!!! It's old as the hills, but to replace it I want to get a new flat screen TV, and then just have it on a simple elegant table! Instead of this huge monstrosity!!!
Also thinking about removing the pictures and shelves in between the book shelves, and just adding more book shelves to fill the wall!

Idea's for your Lavender harvest!
Easy Lavender Body Powder
2/3 cup arrowroot powder
2/3 cup corn starch
6 tbsp. white clay*
3 tbsp. dried lavender
*Clay available at most health food stores
Grind whole Lavender flowers in a clean coffee grinder to desired fineness. Use a glass bowl, mix arrowroot powder, cornstarch and Lavender. Optional to add a few drops of essential oil to boost scent. Stir.
Store in a glass sealed container. Nice as a gift in a shaker bottle with holes in the top.
Lavender Wands
Lavender favours, or faggots, were originally used to scent linen and other stored fabric and clothes. They were often used to mark the dozens, and the half-dozens, in piles of linen in a bride's dowry chest, and it was usually the children who were set to work to make them. Nowadays, they make nice small gifts, either individually or in a "bunch" to put in a vase.
YOU WILL NEED:
Freshly gathered lavender stems, about 30cm. (12") long and 1 metre of narrow ribbon.
METHOD:
Take an uneven number of stems of lavender, 15 is about right. Tie these together tightly, with the end of the ribbon, just below the flower heads. Turn the bunch upside down and carefully bend the stems back over the flower heads, one by one. Start to weave the long end of the ribbon in and out of the stems, as there is an odd number it will have a basket effect. Shape the head as you go, pulling the weaving tight as you get to the bottom of the flower heads. Wind the ribbon round a couple of times, and slip knot the end. Use any remaining ribbon to make a bow. Trim the ends of the stems level. You can bind these with the ribbon too, and make a loop to hang up the "favour".

Vegan Jello shots!!!!!
Party Star brand has introduced a line of pre-packaged alcohol spiked jel shots just in time for summer. The initial lineup is seven-flavors deep, with two new tastes coming into play for the rest of 2011. The planned appeal of the product comes by attempting to solve the time-problem associated with enjoying jello shots at your parties. Making the mixture, putting it in the fridge, letting it sit, and splicing everything up can be quite tedious when you’re planning a last minute drink session.
Thats where these Jel Shots come in to play. The ready-to-consume shots contain 12% alcohol, use all natural flavors and colors and
are made of plant-based jel without animal bi-products (vegan). Apparently they don’t even require refrigeration.
“Peel. Squeeze. Party.” — that’s the mantra conveyed by Party Star brand, and the initial batch is available in Blueberry, Grape, Green Apple, Lemon-Lime, Orange, Strawberry and Cherry. Black Raspberry and Red Apple are planned for to be released soon.
So all of you that are vegan can enjoy a buzz too!!!! Go to http://foodbeast.com/content/2011/07/12/party-star-spiked-jel-shots/
and have a blast. I've ordered mine!!!!! Oh and Frog Queen..... you could melt them down and put them in the frog molds you know!
Oh and Just because I couldn't stop once I started.... Here is a link for frog molds!!!! http://www.getsuckered.com/Category/Chocolate-Molds/Frogs.aspx

FROGS!!!!!
This recipe is from "Jelly Shot Test Kitchen - the Book!"
That can be had at amazon.com. I have to get this book!!!!!! And now I'm going out to find frog molds to make it!!!!!
I think it's a fantastic way to celebrate Harry Potter!!!
Chocolate Frog Jelly Shots
Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
2 envelopes Knox gelatin
3/8 cup vanilla ice cream, melted
1/2 cup chocolate liqueur
1/4 cup Bailey’s
1/4 cup vodka
1/8 cup amaretto
Directions:
Prepare the molds with a light application of cooking spray. Wipe the cavities clean with a paper towel. This will leave a very slight residue which will aid in unmolding without affecting taste or appearance.
Pour water in saucepan, sprinkle with gelatin. Allow gelatin to soak for a few minutes. Heat over very low heat until gelatin is dissolved, stirring constantly (approximately 5 minutes). Add the melted ice cream. Once combined, stir in vodka and the liqueurs.
Pour mixture into molds (or standard glass or non-reactive metal 1 lb loaf pan approximately 8” x 4” will work!). Refrigerate until fully set (several hours or overnight).
To unmold, fill a larger container or clean sink with warm water (not too hot!). With clean fingers, loosen the gelatin around the edges of the mold cavities. Next, dip the bottom of the mold into the warm water for just a few seconds (10 seconds worked for me). Dry the bottom of the mold with a towel and check the edges to see if they are loose, if not, repeat the dip for just a few more seconds. Place a nonstick cookie sheet on top of the mold and invert. The gelatin frogs should drop right out. Return the “frogs” to refrigerator until immediately before serving.

Light up your heart
MAGIC CANDLE RITUALS
Candle rituals have been around for centuries.
You light the candles, maybe close your eyes while repeating a spell or that which you wish for and visualizing it coming true.
It is a combination of the need or desire, and the ability to visualize the outcome.
Candle burning spells and rituals are very easy to do and to have success with if they are done correctly and you truly believe. The different colors of candles each have their own symbolism.
Here is a table of the colors and their meanings.
White: truth, purity
Red: love, health, sex, strength
Green: money, luck, fertility
Black: discord, evil, negativity, confusion
Brown: neutrality, uncertainty, hesitation
Pink: love, morality, honor
Purple: power, business progress, ambition
Orange: attraction, stimulation
Greenish Yellow: jealousy, anger, discord
Gray: neutrality, stalemate, negativity
Light Blue: tranquility, patience, health
Dark Blue: depression, changeability
Candle spells can be very easy or complicated.
It all depends on how much time you want to put into a ritual.
It can be as simple as lighting a green candle and chanting... money money come to me.
It can also be very long and complicated lasting several days with the repositioning of the candles each day. The choice is always yours.
The first thing you want to do is get the appropriate color candles for your particular desire.
Then you need to anoint the candle with oil. Olive oil will do fine.
You need to rub the candle with the oil from the middle outward to the ends.
As you are doing this you need to be thinking of your desired goal.
Then sit and meditate on your desire after lighting the candles, then read your spell or chant your appropriate mantra.
You don't need some elaborate spell with a bunch of big words or words you don't
even know how to pronounce. You can make your own spells or rituals.
Think of your desire then make a simple little rhyme that tells about your desire in it.
It doesn't even have to rhyme. This is all about will power, the power of positive thinking, and creative visualization. If you can do these things then you will send those vibrations out into the universe and eventually they will materialize.
FRIENDSHIP CANDLE SPELL
Pink Candle Good Luck/Friendship Oil Pink silk Ribbon White Silk Ribbon
Cast the Circle, Arrange altar, Invoke Goddess and God
You will want to anoint the pink with Good Luck oil all the while thinking of the friends you want to make.
Imagine yourself laughing with them, going out with them. Really see yourself with them.
After your candle has been anointed, you may light it. At this point you may call out the things that are important to you in a friend: honesty, trust, open mindedness, humor, whatever.
As you light the candle, see the flame as being the energy that burns between any two close friends.
When this is completed, take your two pieces of silk ribbon and weave them together.
Simply winding them around each other will do.
While you do this, think of bringing that friend closer to you.
This binding process is reminiscent of pagan handfasting rituals.
You are binding that friend to you, making them loyal to you, a way any good friend should be.
You do not want to bind a specific person to you, as that kind of magic is harmful since is harms the other person's free will. Only bind the idea of the perfect friend to you.
Once you have done this, tie the ribbon to the base of your candle as best as you can.
The candle's light is a beacon to bring friendship to you and another person.
When this is done, you may wish to sit and meditate on the spell that you have just cast, sending your energies out to bring that perfect friend to you. When you feel that your spell has been completed, then it has. Let your candle burn all the way out and release your circle, thanking the Goddess and the God.
LOVE SPELL
Light a candle (I tend to use a blessed white tea candle) and place it by the window sill at night.
This is you calling out to your love.
CAST A WITCH'S LUCKY CANDLE SPELL
take an orange candle anointed with cinnamon oil, clove, or lotus oil.
Light the candle and say 3 times:
"brimstone, moon, and witch's fire,
candlelights bright spell,
good luck shall I now acquire,
work thy magic well.
Midnight twelve, the witching hour,
bring the luck I seek.
By wax and wick now work thy power
as these words I speak.
Harming none, this spell is done.
By law of three, so mote it be!"
Do this spell at midnight.
WHITE CANDLE SPELL FOR BLESSING
Get a white candle -- either a plain one (offertory, pillar, or taper) or a figural one in the gender of the person you want to bless. Carve the person's full name on the candle, then dress it with Blessing Oil or Holy Oil. For more power, you may place a name-paper of the person, or a photo, or some personal item of theirs (such as a bit of hair or a snippet or clothing) either under the candle or next to it.
One easy way to do this is to place the paper or personal concerns under an overturned saucer and put the candle on top of the saucer.
Burn a portion of the candle every day for seven days, pinching it out between burnings.
As you light it each day, say this
[Name], may you be blessed
May all good things come to you
May nothing whatsoever harm you
May your heart be light
May your travels be safe
May your health be good
May your mind be sound
May your friendships sustain you
May you be blessed in every way
If you have a special request for this person (such as that they find a lover, get a
good job, come home safely from a war, or whatever), just add it to the list.
Some people use a large pillar-type candle and keep it going for longer than seven days.
They may make a habit of burning such a candle every day -- or once a week, on Sundays -- for as long as their friend or relative needs help, even doing so for months at a time.
If the candle is large and it is to be burned in this way, it should be re-dressed with Blessing Oil or Holy Oil once a week: after the initial dressing, you can drop a tiny bit of oil into the "well" or hole in such a large candle just before lighting it each time.

I'm baaaaaack!
Some pictures from my convention. Here are some really strange lights over the bar, up all the way to the roof.... what they are supposed to be.... no one knows for you....but I think they are mushrooms.... or at least the guy who designed them was smoking magic mushroom!!!!
The pool was closed most of Friday, cause MD got a HUGE rain storm the day before, and the pool was filled with leaves and mulch from the rain water.... but they had it cleaned and up and running by Saturday
I was totally ecstatic to find they had Lox in their breakfast buffet!!!! I LOVE LOX!!!! and believe me when I say I ate my fair share, and then some, of the wonderful treat! That's capers on top of it.
We had a room with a patio, and called down to ask for some chairs so we could sit out... why they brought these dinning room chairs I'll never know!!!!!! Most of the time they use white plastic one's, but these did good enough, even though they were gaudy as hell!!!!
The view out of our patio doors.... yeah boring! Pine needles and a tennis court that no one ever used.
Mike, being a pain about getting his picture taken
and last but not least, me in my red star trek dress!
I put it on, and did up my hair in the 60's hairstyle at 9am Saturday morning.... to go to a meeting, and couldn't get out of it all day!!!!! So many freaking people taking my picture!!!!! Every time I moved 3 feet, people were asking me if they could take a picture. Lordy!!!!! It's a freaking costume!!! I didn't think it was that great, but they seemed to love it!
But after 12 hours in those high heeled boots ..... I was ready to DIE!!!! The hotel is spread out, so I walked, and walked and walked, and walked!!!!!
I had my picture taken by a zillion people, posing with brothers, sisters, Klingon's, and so on. And they are probably posting it to face book saying..... "you should have seen this fat chick in a star trek outfit!!!!!" I can only hope they will be kind. GIGGLE
But all in all I had a fab time with Mike, Cher, Linda and a bunch of other friends.... and girls!!!! Let me tell you.... I GOT HIT ON CONSTANTLY!!!! Guys just love a mini skirt!!!! LOL
Now I will spend the next few days trying to walk off the stiffness and pain in my legs and feet, and the rest of the time trying to get my voice back.... Yes, my voice is almost gone... My loving son Say's I sound like a Zombie... and actually pleaded with me not to talk to him anymore!!!!
How rude!!!! But I do sound funny as shit!!!!

Do it at home, Nature's way!!!!
Natural home Beauty: By: Nicole Cothrun Venables.Hollywood Stylist
Avocado is a restorative fruit, perfect for protecting and balancing your hair and skin. It is often called the "ultimate beauty fruit" because it delivers nourishing natural oils and other benefits. The vitamin A in avocado adds sheen to hair, vitamin B balances oil production, whether your skin and hair are too oily or dry, and vitamin E protects and repairs sun and pollution damage.
You can simply mash up one or two avocados into a mud and apply to hair or skin; for a deluxe treatment, try adding:
1 tablespoon of warmed raw organic honey
1 tablespoon of organic mayonnaise or almond oil
Apply to face, body, and hair (cover hair with shower cap) and let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse well and shampoo if necessary.
Cucumber is a highly effective beauty food packed with vitamins and silica, an antioxidant that can help relieve dark-circled or tired, puffy eyes. It also supports cell growth and repair for skin, scalp and body. Simply slice a cucumber for a clean face and neck treatment, or purée it into a clear cream for a scalp treatment. For a great hair or skin mask, try this recipe:
1 cucumber puréed or diced
¼ cup plain organic yogurt
1 teaspoon Aloe Vera juice
A dash of sea salt
Blend, apply and leave on 10-15 min. Be sure to rinse well.
Whole grain scrubs can be soothing and healing, as well as helpful in detoxing, exfoliating, hydrating and softening skin. Oatmeal and quinoa grains are great for all skin types, and both are high in proteins, saponins and essential nutrients -- all perfect agents for building new skin. Try ½ cup whole or ground organic oats or quinoa cooked or steamed with water or almond/rice milk for a quick pick-me-up. Be sure to let it cool before applying and rinse well. For extra benefits try adding:
1 tablespoon raw organic Agave
1 mashed organic fig or ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce
Apply generously to skin and scalp; leave on 15 minutes and rinse well. Shampoo if necessary.
Banana'sBanana fudge hair/face/body antioxidant balms -- made from bananas and cocoa --are loaded with the mineral sulphur, which promotes healthy hair, skin and nails. This complete anti-aging "sundae" offers free-radical and UV protection for skin:
½ cup cocoa or cacao
1 mashed/puréed ripe organic banana
2 tablespoons macadamia nut oil or butter
1 egg
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 spoonful organic brown sugar
A dash of cinnamon
Blend or whip into a pudding balm. Apply to face/body and hair/scalp for 15 minutes and rinse well. Shampoo if necessary.
Papaya is a great way to infuse C and E vitamins into your skin and hair, and exfoliate, soften and tone your skin all in one blast. Papaya enzymes are often used in skin products because they make your face and body glow. It works well as a hair mask, too. For a citrusy recipe:
1 papaya, puréed or blended
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon fresh orange or tangerine juice
2 tablespoons raw organic warmed honey
Mix ingredients together or blend in a food processor. Generously apply to face and neck (keeping away from eyes), and rinse well after 10 minutes. Shampoo if necessary.
100 percent coconut oil-infused moisturizers have amazing healing properties for skin, body, hair and scalp. This fruit butter promotes hair growth and is a serious healing salve for skin disorders such as eczema and dandruff. Try:
2 tablespoons coconut oil (put the jar in a cup of hot water and the oil will go from butter to a pliable liquid)
½ cup shaved or pureed organic carrot
10 drops of geranium oil
5 drops of chamomile oil
5 drops of jasmine oil
A pinch of rosemary, sage and or finely ground sea salt.
Combine and use moderately all over body or massage into scalp to stimulate skin and hair. Rinse well after 20 minutes. A light shampoo on hair may be necessary.
Strawberries contain amazing medicinal properties: they're rich in vitamin C and malic acid, both of which are both great for cleansing, toning and brightening. For a natural blemish remover and teeth whitener, try blending:
1 tablespoon crushed fresh organic strawberries
1 tablespoon of cream of tartar or baking soda
½ teaspoon of fresh organic lemon or lime juice
1 teaspoon organic tooth powder or non-toxic toothpaste
Blend all ingredients into a paste and spot apply to blemishes and teeth (once a week) for 5 minutes. Rinse well.
De-stressing tea baths and toners made from apples, rose petals and chamomile tea are rich in flavonoids, vitamin C, pectin and malic acid. They revive and firm dull saggy skin, tighten pores, and calm inflammation -- plus they are ultra-hydrating for the face and body. Try this concoction:
1 finely sliced apple
1 cup of rose petals
3 bags of chamomile tea
Fill bath and float ingredients and soak your body. You can also boil ingredients for 10 minutes, then steep till cool. Strain into a spray bottle and mist your face and body for an early-morning wake-me-up or a refresher during the day.

N.J. can be interesting!
These are all pictures from our local newspapers!!!!!
First we had the arrival of millions and millions of what we thought were tiny Jelly fish, but instead they were some kind of weird plankton that just LOOKED like tiny Jelly fish!!!!
People commented that it was like swimming in Tapioca!!!! Yick!!!
Then we had major shark sitings!!!! Not a good thing at the beginning of the summer for the Jersey shore!
Then we has a baboon running around our town! WTF! Seems it escaped from Great Adventure park.... a Baboon????
Now whales , right off the beach....WHALES!!!!! That's a new one on the Jersey shore, sure we've had them way off far in the ocean, but never this close to land!!!!
And to top it all off, the government moved this nice new plane down to our local military base by us. So interspersed with the bombing we hear constantly from the Earls weapons training base, we get sonic booms!!!
This may be a good summer to hide in the back yard, of course you may have to fend off an attacking baboon, but it's better then swimming with sharks? Right?
Even so, I still LOVE NEW JERSEY!!!

New Book..... Evil Book!
I picked up this cool book at BJ's this morning!!!! Not only does it tell you about every poisonous plant on earth, but has pictures, and the history and side effects of each one!
I couldn't put it down!!! Maybe it's the witch in me, or maybe the Bitch in me, but I found it wonderfully entertaining and informative!
I'm really not sure they should sell this type of book where crazy teens or ex wives can find it, but I think it's cool!!!

Fishy, star trek, and food allergys
For some reason my gold fish have decided to "spring clean" their tank!
I don't know why, but they are busy moving rocks and toys around. All I hear all day is... tink, tink, tink... as the stones are moved around the tank!
They keep trying to move the snail too!!!!! I had no idea snails could look soooooo scared!!!!
The convention is only a week away!!!! I leave Friday morning of MD, and three days of fun, drinking, debauchery, and other things! (now, I have said repeatably, that I do not sleep around at shore leave, but then you all know I lie like a dog!)
My costumes are ready (and I'm bringing them, if I wear them will be another story!), my suitcase is too....
now all I need is my food. Because of my food allergy's I'm bringing my own stuff, rather then eat there and be constantly high on benadrylle!!!!
I'm bringing 2 kinds of cheese. Those baby bells, and the little wedges
Sweet potato chips
4 roast beef subs.... I chuck the bread, but have them make it on the bread anyway cause it's easy to carry it that way
Antipasto
fresh fruit
coffee bags, cause they never give you enough coffee with your room coffee maker!
And milk for my coffee, hate that powdered stuff, and this year I asked for a fridge in my room, so I can keep it all cold!
I will eat breakfast at the hotel, they have tons of sausage and bacon, yogurt and coffee... so I'm good.
And I have tons of money to spend in the dealers room. Believe it or not... I do a lot of my Christmas shopping while there!
They don't just sell star trek stuff.... lots of witchy supplies, stuffed animals, and tons of silver jewelry... plus other stuff!
I should have fun!!!!!
