Weeds? Seriously though there are a good 40 different Honeysuckles I've seenonline so one never knows. How long is the growing season in your area. You might as well see if it blooms and then you could ID it if it is Honeysuckle.P.S. If you're a witch couldn't you just put a spell onthe freakin thing to make it bloom.
LOL I've tried that! But plants are connected to the earth, and STRONG!!! That explains weeds! giggle I decided that the cauldron is too small for something that fast growing, no matter what it is, so I'm transplanting it to open ground, and I'll give it a chance to grow and show me what it is. It did have a woody stem, so I'm hoping it's SOMETHING!
I can go up to 7b in the zone here. Milder weather because I'm so close to the beach. That's why container planting is good here. And that's why rosemary and lavender stay green all winter long here, while just a short 10 miles away they would die!
It's amazing that I picked a place where there wasn't a large gardening area, so I didn't have to do all that work while retired... and yet, I keep adding planting space and adding.... I must enjoy the punishment!
I hear ya on adding space. My neighbor and I started digging at our small apt bldg. some years ago and though she kept it to a few spots out front.I looked at our patio and the wall above and saw lots of space. Now I feel guilty if a spot doesn't have something in it and since it's Los Angeles the gardening is all year.Growing up in Rochester,N.Y. I get envious when I visit friends there in the fall and the garden is shutting down. Also my brothers mother in law owns our bldg though we've never asked for a cent.It just feels good to see things grow. It's also good because my neighbor and I don't see Eye to Eye at all except for the garden stuff so it probably prevented a few wars.
It looks sort of honeysuckle-ish. Although the leaves on mine are more roundy. But the stems on your and mine look the same.
