Oils

(Use topically with carrier oil. This does not replace medical advice.)

Frankincense has many wonderful attributes such as being anti-bacterial and good for pain relief. It can be used to relieve stress, to help cuts and scrapes heal quicker and reduce scars. It is often said "when in doubt use Frankincense."

Eucalyptus oil has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties that make it good to use for colds and fevers. It is also an anti-pyretic and can be used to help relieve nausea and vomiting.

Peppermint is used as a stimulant to wake the body and clear the mind. It can be very good for nausea. It can be used for congestion and to relieve fevers. Careful using peppermint on children under 6, make sure is very diluted.

Lavender has anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, and pain relieving properties. It can boost your bodies' natural immunity. Above all it is prized for its wonderful smell and its calming scent that can help you relax and sleep better

Lemon has a wonderful smell that can help to balance emotions. Used in small doses it can energize, and in larger doses as a calming agent. It is also easy to use to make your own cleaning recipes and do away with harsh (and expensive) household cleaners.

Tea tree or Melaleuca oil has many useful antibacterial and antifungal properties. It can be used to help heal cuts, scrapes, bites, acne, dandruff, athelete's foot and a host of other issues. It can also be used to make your own household cleaners.

Chamomile can be used as an alternative or alongside lavender for its calming traits. It can be used in baths or topically to help one sleep or relax. It can be used topically to eliminate gas or bloating. Roman Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties
