SPLIT POT FOR THE LIGHT POST

OK, I bought a huge split pot for around the pole lamp in the front yard.

For those of you who don't know it, it's a Terra cotta looking plastic flower pot, that is actually split in two!!!! With a square space missing from the center. You put it around poles or such, and when you tighten it up, it looks like one whole pot!

I didn't want to work with it all year, by putting annuals in it, so I did it better!

I put two huge roots for a bleeding heart plant, it's perennial, and each year it gets bigger and prettier, with lovely heart shaped flowers on it, and I also planted lily of the valley..... the MOST fragrant of all the flowers, and bloom all year, and come back year after year. I also put some tiny bulbs for miniature iris's around the post, so when they all bloom and fill out they should be magnificent!!!!

Plus no work, no muss, each year they come back all by them selves with now extra flowers to be bought!!!!!! A bonus to my purse!!!!! GIGGLE

Chiller

I know your all into Star Trek, but you should check this convention out!!!! It's in New Jersey, NO lines for autographs, and great for a day trip.

I'm going for the weekend with my sister, but that's just because we like to go to the pool and bar. If your looking for something NOT as geeky as Shore Leave, you should consider this one!!!!!!

Lots of cool goth men and women, and the dealers room ROCKS!!!!!!

I haven't been to Chiller before, but I've heard all the hype about it, and talked to people who go to them, so I'm looking forward to it!!!!

My first flowers of spring!!!!

Wednesday, March 28, 2007

Damn, again!

Well, I did it again, waited till near death door to figure out that my ears were infected. GIGGLE

Actually, I didn't even think about it till the vertigo hit!!! Got out of bed to go to the bathroom and found myself on the floor as the whole house tilted!!!! Geeze, gotta pay more attention!!!

But it's hard since my ears are so bad now, that I don't even feel pain anymore!!!! I was feeling grouchy, not hungry, and irritable..... but the ears didn't hurt...... even after the whole world tilted. GIGGLE

Now, three prescriptions later, I'm feeling better. But I still don't want to go out on my sweet swing, till I'm sure I'm not going to go into vertigo again, so I'm wasting time in the wonderful weather sitting inside, taking my meds, and being a good girl. YUCK

I'm still tired though, and I'm going to bed early tonight to try and catch up on my sleep.

Ohhhhhh, and I have one Daffodil blooming!!!!! Yippee, where there is one, the rest will follow. Can't wait to see them all and the tulips blooming.

I LOVE SPRING!!!!!

Oh shit, what's that...... hummmmm,

smells like pollen sneaking up on us!

Spring good, pollen baddddddddd!

achoooooooooooooo

Do the happy dance!!!

In preperation for Easter I'm reprinting my spring song

Little bunnies hopping round

Updates

Almost all the ice is gone now, and the temps have warmed up nicely! I did have a few mortality's in the ice storm. One of my little glass side tables bit the dust when a chunk of ice fell off the roof and hit it! It's been outside for almost 8 years, but the ice smacked it just right and the glass shattered. Oh well, time to get a new one.

Besides that, my big planters in the front of the house are starting to crack. Thought they were 100% cement, but seems they are Terra cotta covered with a cement finish. Sucks, but Terra cotta doesn't last long out side in the winter, and this is at least the second winter they were outside. But it's cool, I should get the summer out of them before they crack apart, next year I'll get another set.

I have only one thing left to buy. I need a beach umbrella. I've done without in the last few years, but it limits my time at the beach by like 2 hours (before burning to a crisp) so I want to get a nice umbrella so I can spend the day at the beach, and not just a few hours. I grew up spending the whole day at the beach, but mom had a nice umbrella so that you could sit and enjoy, with out burning. Gotta get one. GIGGLE

Besides that, my peas are in, should be showing signs of growth in a few more days, and my plums are planted. But so far I haven't gotten the rest of my plants from Gurney's, but I expect them by the end of the month.

Oh, Shore Leave DID cash my check! So I'm assuming we're in! though they still didn't send me anything, I think the women who runs the dealers room is a total fucking idiot! But as long as I get a table I'll stop myself from telling her what I think about her, at least until after the convention, then I'm gonna let it rip!

I have a cool craft project for selling at the con, not going to tell anyone yet what it is, but I love them! And hopefully they will be unique enough to sell at the con. GIGGLE, but if they don't I'll keep them because they are soooooooooo CUTE!

Matt is busy arranging his trip to China. Feels weird that he's actually going, at least so far! I'm going to be so board at home with out him here, but the opportunity is too good to pass up. Studying at one of the worlds famous Chinese university's? I'm keeping my mouth shut, but I think he would be an idiot to pass it up!!! So, I'm pretty sure he's going to go. I'm leaving it all to him to arrange and fix, he's old enough to do his own thing, and I'm not going to interfere at all. Let him work it all out.

Boy, that's going to give me a ton of free time!!!! Not having to drive him back and forth to school will be a shock to my system, and pocket book!!! (gas prices suck!!!!) Just think about how much I'm going to save on food alone!!!! GIGGLE

Easter, again

We've decided on Easter Dinner. I'm going to do just goodies. No main meal, though I will have hamburgers and hot dogs for Mark to cook on the grill if he wants. But other then that, just goodies........

Shrimp.... lots of it
guacamole
steamed clams
huge salad
antipasto goodies like cheese, and olives and such
and what ever else I can think of

Most of the time we eat the goodies, and by the time the main meal is served, no one's hungry!!! So, why not make the main meal the goodies? Jamie likes the idea, and so do I, so we're going to run with it. giggle

Then we're going to the boardwalk with the kids, and play games, and win stuff, and smell the ocean. Sounds good to me!!!!!

Thinking Easter

Easter is only 3 weeks away, and I'm constantly thinking about it. It's late this year, so it's going to be really warm!!! I'm having it here, with Jamie, Mark, and the kids........ but what should I make?? I'm totally sick of ham, but would like some fresh kebosie... with the sour crout and European dried mushrooms. That's cool, but it's not a main dish!
Fresh pork roast with garlic and Rosemary is a standard. And good too.
But, I'm sorta wandering outside the box too: what if we barbecue?? It'll be warm enough. But is hamburgers and hot dogs really appropriate for Easter? Maybe not, but it sounds good. GIGGLE
I could add Easter food to it, like the fresh kelbosie, and potato salad, and ................ hummmm, I don't know what else.
But then the weather could be bad, and we would have to eat indoors, and you can't barbecue in doors...... so maybe I'll have an alternate plan!
At least we can go to the board walk and try to win candy for the kids, and have fun!!!!!
LIVING AT THE SHORE ROCKS!

Weird and Yucky!!!

Well, that was totally weird and yucky! As you can see, it doesn't look like much, because all that isn't snow!!!! It's hours and hours of SLEET! No snow fell at all, just frozen, nasty pellets!!!!
But, the park was on top of it, and the roads are pretty clear, any sleet let on them is already melting in the morning sun. But, it was interesting.
I think we were fine because we have underground power lines!!! If the power lines were above ground.... I'm pretty sure that there would have been outages in this ice storm..... but nope, we're cool.
I don't think I've seen an ice storm like this in so many years that I can't even remember!!!!! I know there was one a few years ago, but I was out of state and missed it.
Oh well, that's March!!!! Never know whats going to happen!!! My birthday's in March, and I remember wonderful warm spring days, and day's when snow reached my shoulders!!! I think that's why those of us that are born in March change our mind so much..... our personality fits the weather!!!! GIGGLE

Pills, pills, pills

You know, I didn't something I don't usually do. A few days ago I watched TV all day! I was board, and it was something to do.

What amazed me was the ads on TV for medications!!!! I'm talking all day long. Take this pill for blood pressure, and this one treats blood pressure and high closteral, and this one is for infections. Use this medications for this, and this one for that!!!! Oh, and don't forget that now they put all the side effects on the commercials!!!!

So, it's this way, take this stuff for this, but it causes side effects of this, so take this to counter the side effects, but that one cause's side effects, so take that other one for that..... and so on, and so on, and so on.

The sleep med's on TV are out of control!!!! HAY, TRY TAKING A GLASS OF HOT MILK BEFORE BED!!!! All those sleep meds sound good, but you should see the FUCKING SIDE EFFECTS!! And it amazes me that one of the signs of depression, is sleeping all the time, geeeeeeze, now they have meds to help you sleep, so you don't have to cope with it, and get better!!!!!!

Tell me why we over medicate ourselves!!!! Why do you do what ever the doctors say to do????????? They don't give a fuck if your taking a ton of pills everyday, they get a cut back from the pharmaceutical company's, why should they care????

What I don't understand is like the stuff for high closteral. You can treat that with diet, and eating oat meal, but they prescribe a drug that can KILL YOU FUCKING LIVER!!!!! You have to get blood tests to see if your liver is failing. And you know what...... by the time the tests show your liver is failing, your pretty much DEAD!!!!

A friend use to have migrains. Now, I know they are a bitch! But now she started taking these pills for it..... and besides having the side effect of making her a zombie that sleeps all fucking day long, they have other side effects that she has to take other pills to counter. And she doesn't even realize it!! The doctors won't tell unless you force them to tell, so people go along being over medicated, and to what end>>>>>>>

Let me tell you. They become a slave to the doctor. They take everything, and anything that's given to them.

I'm not only talking major stuff. How about the antibacterial soaps and such. Don't people realize that they are causing their body's to stop fighting, naturally, infections. Why put a cream on a kids boo boo, when you can wash it, and soak it in salt water, and NO INFECTIONS! No, instead put a cream on it that will cause them in the long run to lose their natural ability to fight infections!!!

Let me tell you if your taking more then one pill a day...... FOR ANYTHING..... your taking TOO MUCH!! STOP, CHECK OUT THE SIDE EFFECTS, AND STOP TAKING IT ALL!!!!

Sure, I take my medication for high blood pressure. High blood pressure, and antibiotic for infections and..... well, I can't think of another type of pill you should be taking, unless you have a heart or lung problem.

When you become a slave to medications, you give up your free will, and your life. Ask any older man or women that is taking a billion pills a day, because the doctor told them too. Many of these people die from taking all those pills, and the doctors just shrug their shoulders and forget about it.

I feel sorry for those people who do this. I guess it's their way of coping with life, find a sickness, get treated, over and over again...... they get the attention they crave, but they are slowly killing themselves, and they don't give a fuck! (on second thought, maybe that's the idea. Afraid of committing suicide, they allow the doctors to kill them!)

And now with all the commercials on TV telling you to take this for that, and that for this, it only enables people to keep up all the pills and sickness. Pharmaceutical company's are out of
control!!!!!

But, in the long run, it's our fault. We go along with all this, and take more and more stuff. "Big Brother" isn't watching you...... he's controlling your health both mental and physical!!!!

The last few days have been lovely! I've been sitting out on my new swing every chance I can get!

I've filled up all the pots with fresh dirt, and I even planted the beans in one pot. Beans need the colder weather to grow, so it's always good to plant them early. A little snow won't hurt them a bit, even making them taste better.

I planted the crispy snow pod beans, and in the same pot I've tried a new bean, it's an Oriental bean called long asparagus. LOL Yes, I know, it's weird to name a veggie after another veggie.... but they are super long beans that taste wonderful. The pods can grow like 2 feet long, so I'll have plenty to eat, and even more to freeze for later use.

Now, we're going to have a spell of colder weather, but that's OK.... after the last few days I can cope with some snow and cold, because I know that it's getting warmer after!!!!!!

HERE COMES SPRING!!!!!!

Where the hell is ARKANSAS?????

I soooooo want to go here!!!! I'm a rock hound from way back, and to go to a place where you can find diamond????? LOVE IT!!! But where the hell is it???? Not a state you normaly think of, and can you drive there, or fly? Hummmmmmm, gonna check it out!

Arkansas, The Natural State, is blessed with an abundance of geological wonders. The Crater of Diamonds State Park, the only diamond-producing site in the world open to the public, stands out as a unique geological "gem" for you to explore and enjoy.
Here, you are invited to prospect in the park's diamond search area, a 37-acre plowed field that is the eroded surface of an ancient volcanic pipe that 95 million years ago, brought to the surface the diamonds and some of the semi-precious stones lucky visitors find here today.
Diamonds of all colors of the rainbow can be found here at Crater of Diamonds, but the three most common colors unearthed by park visitors are white, brown and yellow. This Arkansas Diamond Mine is a rockhound's delight since, along with diamonds, over 40 types of rocks and minerals can found here, too. These rocks and minerals include lamproite, amethyst, banded agate, jasper, peridot, garnet, quartz, calcite, barite and hematite.
In 1906, John Huddleston, the local farmer who owned this property then, found the first diamonds here in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, and started the diamond mining rush. According to the history of the Crater of Diamonds State Park, after a series of ill-fated mining ventures followed by tourist attractions, the site became an Arkansas state park in 1972.
Within the park boundary many remnants of old mining ventures remain including the Mine Shaft Building, the Guard House, mining plant foundations, old mining equipment and smaller artifacts. Nowhere else is North American diamond mining history as evident or as well preserved as here.
Along with the diamond search area, the park has hundreds of acres of natural forest featuring a diversity of flora and fauna and offering visitors interesting things to do in the area. Arkansas' natural and cultural diversity -- the geology, the site's history, the plants and animals -- makes the Crater of Diamonds State Park a unique Arkansas attraction unlike any other in the world. You are invited to visit this one-of-a-kind attraction and experience the thrill of searching for real diamonds in the rough. Our park staff will identify your finds for you. And, the policy here is "finders keepers." Any diamonds, semi-precious stones, rocks or minerals you unearth are yours to keep, regardless of their value.

Dinning Room

I finally got the Chandler that I bought on E-bay for $10 plus shipping up!!!!!!! It's huge, but fantastic!!!! I was going to put it up this weekend, but for some strange reason I couldn't find the hardware..... and of course, I found it Sunday night. Couldn't happen when I had someone to help me..... NOOOOOOOOOOO....... that would be too easy!

Fate seems to want me to work my ass off!!!!!! So I did it, all by myself, on top of a ladder, holding the light (heavy as shit!!!) and attaching the wires, and screwing it in....... BUT IT'S UP!!!!!!

YAHHHHHHHH ME!

Messing around with the Patio!

I've been putzing around outside. I tried to make a conversation area on the patio.

The swing is right across from the chairs and fire place, so people can sit and talk in the evening. And the fire place burns real, so you have the crackling fire, and seating enough for 5 people!

You have to imagine them facing each other across the patio!

I can't take up too much room, since I need a clear path to move the garbage cans down the patio, and out to the front. So putting things on an angle doesn't work........ the can's won't fit, and taking out the garbage is kinda important. LOL I could bypass that, by moving the cans to the front of the house.... but who wants to see the garbage cans??? Not me. LOL

The swing folds down to a full bed!!!!! Cool if you want to lay around and maybe even take a nap!!!

As you can see the planters go straight down to the car, and then I'm putting some of the planters.... the tallest growing things, like tomatoes, in front of the car to block that view when your sitting outside. I'll stick another planter there to totally block the view of the car, and maybe put beans or some high vining plant there. No one says I have to look at my car when I'm trying to relax outside! Just as long as there is a small path on the side, so I can continue taking the garbage cans out to the curb.

Now, I'm not saying I'm done yet..... I'll still move things around till I get them where I want them. GIGGLE

Shop till you drop!

I was planning to go to Englishtown today, but plans changed.

Eileen wanted to come over and give me my birthday presents..... cool! She got me some lights for the patio, red crabs, and a seashell wind chime, and a starfish glass dish, and a tin colorful crab for hanging. Really nice.

And we went off shopping. Goddess I'm pooped!!!! We hit AC Moors, Burlington coat factory (where I bought a FANTASTIC winter coat. Full length, fake fur, black, nice, nice, nice) Then to Denny's for lunch, Dots, Marshall's, TJ Max, and last, but not least, Pier One.

I'm totally EXHAUSTED!

But I got some nice summer t-shirts at dots, and that's it besides the coat. I'm a happy camper! Sometimes it feels good to just shop!!!!

Last of the gardening supplys

Went to Home Depot this afternoon, with Matt, and got the last 3 bags of Miracle Grow Moisture holding potting soil! This stuff is fantastic!!!! If you grow things in containers, you have to get this!!!

I have a few containers without it, regular potting soil, and a few with the Mosture controll stuff...... and the ones with it don't have to be watered every single day, sometimes only once a week, and the ones without it I water every day, and sometimes more!!!

So all my pots are getting changed to Miracle Grow. It's more expensive then regular potting soil, but the money you make up in time, and water! And really it's not that expensive for the size of the bag.

Also got the pot for the tomatoes.... so I'm all ready.

Tomorrow I'm thinking of English Town, if it's nice enough, and while I'm gone, hopefully, Matt with put together my swing!!! Yippee
I'm going to try and do most of my herbs in one large pot, but I still have the Rosemary and lavender planted around the bird bath, (and it looks like they came thru the winter just fine!) and I have Lavender and Sage in the front around the new arch.... so there aren't too many herbs I need to plant yet. I may do Dill, Parsley, and some Mint in the planter. I haven't decided yet.
And I started Chamomile and Bee Balm in planters in the house already, when the weather gets warm I'll put the pots outside on the shelves and let them grow

Shore Leave, last year

Matt sent this to me today, from Shore Leave last year. We're outside on the patio, Ed took it! Great picture of Matt and me!!!!!!!

Some Spell Aids

To Receive Nature’s Aid:

In the Spring, make an amulet and inside put fine dirt. Wear this about your neck. Wear a loose, flowing robe of green. Do not bind up your hair, wear shoes or any kind of cosmetic or artificial scent.

Take a small tree you have purchased or some seeds and go to a large open field. Carry a large container of water with you and water some of the flowers in the field. Then plant the tree or seeds, water them and say:

I feel power all around me – The great movement of the universe.
And I see the mighty and the miniature Miracles about me.
Then I must also feel and see
The insignificance of human frame And the limits of my power.
Yet I see my place among the Flowers and the creatures of the field.
And so I kneel in obedience And give myself to you.

Then lie flat in the clearing and after a period of meditation, arise and put a mark of dust upon your forehead. Find three leaves and put them in your hair. Sleep that night with the window open. Good favor should be gained.

If your husband is not as ardent as you’d like, put a pine cone under his pillow. Turkey bones are another old favorite for this. (No Wonder he’ll move over to your side of the bed!)

For Psychic Dreaming:

On the first night of the full moon, combine Mugwort, Patchouli, Cedar shavings, Oak Moss, ground Cardamom and Lavender. Lace them with oil of Patchouli, Wisteria, Lemon Grass and Sandalwood. Pour the mixture in a glass jar or bowl along with a small cleansed crystal and cover it. The jar should be set outside where it can catch the moon's rays. Be sure to bring it in again before the sun comes up. Do this for 3 nights in a row.

Use the mixture (crystal included) to stuff a small pillow case made of muslin. This can then be inserted into a cover made of black, deep blue or purple velvet. Trim the pillow with fringe or tassels and, if you wish, embroider a pentagram, crescent moon, small stars or runes on it.This Magick Pillow may be placed by your regular one on a night when you wish to have a Psychic dream. Be sure to keep a journal and pen next to your bed along with a candle or oil lamp to record the visions that will come.

Planting time?????

My son took me to Red Lobster for my birthday! And I'm super stuffed!!!! But it was cool. And I got cards, and phone calls and promises of more birthday lunches to come!

Unfortunately with me driving Matt to school and back every day, it's kinda hard to set up plans during the week. But, the weekends are good.

Not that I'm complaining...... having him on the Deans list, and making something of himself is the best thing that could happen, but still, I wish I didn't have to drive back and forth, or sit in the parking lot, day after day.... but I guess it's worth it in the end. And at least this year he doesn't have class's on Saturday, like before. It cramps my time, but I wouldn't give it up for the world!!

Some people didn't understand at first, how I could spend so much time taking him to school, and sitting in the parking lot waiting for him, but you know it was all worth it! Only people with kids can understand that you do all, and everything you can for them, even if it's not what you want..... your not the important one THEY ARE. I get tired of people who have no kids, like my sister, who don't understand that what you do for them is your life! It doesn't matter if you don't have a life because of it....... they are what counts!

And the rewards?????? Seeing a high school drop out, getting straight A's, and being on the Deans list!!!!!!

Jamie said when they come up, we're going to Outback. Cool. Mary and I used to love the place!!! The baked sweet potatoes are to die for!!!!!! I haven't been there in years, hope they still have them!

As usual, for the 30Th year in a row, my plants arrived during the coldest time of the winter! It seems Gurneys idea of proper planting time, cause's winter to come back full force!!!! But, that's OK, I'm used to having plants, sitting in water, waiting for the weather to clear.

The rest of the order didn't come, but should be here in a few days, or maybe next week

The bush plums arrived yesterday. They are native to the shore region, bush size, plum tree's. I had them before, and while the plums are small, they are super yummy and flavorful!!!!! This time, I'm actually planting them in the proper soil, so they should really grow nice!!!!

Jamie told me that Morganna is being registered for school this week!!! WOW Kids grow up fast!!!! But, this will be great for her, since that means next September, she'll only have the baby at home during the day! I remember how excited I was that I could go to the bathroom without 2 kids standing outside of the door talking to me!!!!!! She's going to enjoy this!

The wind is making my allergy's pop up BIG TIME! I'm so sick of the wind!!!!!!! But, I know it will stop soon, and the warm weather is on the way!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!

Dr. Who

I've seen the season end show of Dr. Who, at least 6 times this weekend. This is the show that Christopher Eccleston leaves, and is replaced by another Dr. Who. (a much younger version)
Now, don't get me wrong, I've seen a few shows with the new 2 nd season Dr. Who, and he's good, I like him...... but Christopher..... goddess I'm going to miss him!!!!
OK, so those of you who know me, know I go for a darker man, but I've spent the season mooning over this man. He is just soooooooo....... goddess I can't describe it, but every time I see a close up of him, all I can see is those kissable, yummmy, totally fantastic lips!!!!!
Geeze I'm too old to have a move star crush! LOL but he just pushed some button in me, and I fell for the lug. LOL
But not to worry, he is now the new character on "HERO'S" he plays the invisible man. Yepper so I'll still get to see him.
The thing is, I think, that he was older. It's so hard to find someone on TV that's not under 30!!!! I know he wasn't that old, but still, much closer to me then most of the men on TV.
Or maybe, just maybe there's something about older white Englishmen that float my boat. GIGGLE As some of you well know, I have a slight weakness for that type, just slight, and mostly men without hair! GIGGLE
But just once I'd like to .................. nah, you don't need to know that. GIGGLE.
Well, Dr. Who, first season, you will be sorely missed!

Nice day, HARD WORK!

Well, It was nice today, so I started my day with moving the 2 rockers and the tables from between the blueberry plants.

Then I put the 2 new HUGE pots there, and filled them with soil. The soil bags were the WORST!!! They weigh 50 lbs each, and the soil is wet in them from being outside, so I had to drag them to the pots, and by putting in little by little, I managed to fill the pots without lifting the bag!!!(That's not to say, there is no way I could have lifted the bag anyway!!!)

SEE, THIS IS THE ONLY REASON THE GODS MADE MAN!!! TO LIFT HEAVY STUFF, BARBECUE, AND FUCKING DO WHAT WE TELL THEM TO DO!!!!! Wish I had one, for even one weekend! But, until then, I do the lifting, and it SUCKS!!!

Then I put out the split pot around the light post, and used the rest of the soil from those two HUGE bags, to partially fill them.

I still need at least 2 more bags of the soil to finish the split pot, and the tomato pot (that I have to buy).

Now I have... in a row.... blueberry, asparagus, 2 smaller pots, horseradish, and then a blueberry again. I also have 2 pots for the artichokes....

BUT I FORGOT THE TOMATOES!!!! So I need another pot to plant those..... so off to the store again... geezzzzze!

The bamboo is doing fantastic in the front of the house, but I forgot that I had planted a smaller Black Bamboo plant next to it, and the taller one just overpowered the smaller one..... even though that one grew like crazy last summer too.

So, me with my magnificent brain, decide to DIG UP the smaller one, and move it. Well folks bamboo is ALL ROOTS... BIGGIES!!! After about an hour of digging, tugging, and cutting roots, up it came. Easy? Fuck that, never moving them again!!!

I took the black bamboo plant all the way to the back on the side, and planted it on the corner of the house, on the side, but still the back. Down by the bird bath with the plants around it. I think it looks good, and it can grow all it wants to and have plenty of room, since I don't do much back there anyway.

So that's it for today, now I wish it would get cold again so I don't have to go outside and do anything.

Only the swing to put up, and Matt is going to do that tomorrow for me.

I just have to make sure it leaves enough room to drag the garbage cans around when I'm putting them on the road. Can't drag them thru the stones, too hard, so I have to leave a nice path on the cement to drag them to the front yard.

Once the swing is up, and I find a pot for the tomatoes, and fill the pot, and finish filling the split pot in the front, I'M DONE!!!!

And if you believe that.... then I turn 30 on Monday, and I'm a size 2, and I'm a virgin!!!! WHOOOPEEEEEE!!!!!

Rain

I've always loved the rain. When I was younger I used to go out on the back screened porch and watch the rain. It was really cool if it was like a hurricane, then you stood there and watched the wind, lightning and thunder. So freeing, and wonderful.

I felt that I could lift myself up and fly into the storm, and it would have been wondrous!!!

The last few years, I started hating it, because of the basement flooding thing. When ever it rained I knew I would have to work my ass off mopping up the water, and checking the pumps, all that mold and mildew.

Now, since I've moved to a basement free house, I can actually enjoy the rain again! I love the sound of it on the roof, the sound of it as the wind whips it against the windows. SIGH

If I had my way, a cup of tea, a good book, and a window seat..... to enjoy the wild wonder of it!

As you can tell, today it's raining! I woke up last night to hear it drumming on the windows, and I smiled before I went back to sleep. This morning it's wild, windy, rainy and just fantastic! I don't even mind driving in it.... during the day that is, I can't drive in the rain after dark.... bothers my eyes.... but during the day... it's cool!

Lets hope this year is filled with may "rain days" days where I can feel the rain and relax and enjoy it!

HAY IT'S BETTER THEN FUCKING SNOW!!!! GIGGLE
