We all have the person, relative, friend, not so much friend, annoying neighbor, and so on that we dread their visit!!!
We may not be able to prevent them from stopping by... usually unannounced and at the most inconvenient time... and they seem to do this over and over.... even though they MUST know how much it annoys you.
well here's how to end it once and for all.
I keep a small salt shaker by my front door... this works good, or you could just fill a pocket with salt while they are in your house.
When they are ready to leave (and that's seems endless!!!) Insist on walking them out to their car.
Walk just behind them, sprinkling the salt in their wake, to the end of your property or their car.
Say your goodbys and wait for them to leave
When they are gone, go get a broom and start sweeping the salt away... always sweeping away from you and your house.
While doing this, say the persons name... petitioning the Goddess to keep the person away from you!

I love doing this spell during the holidays. Most of the time you already have candles out for decoration. The color of the candle doesn't matter since it's the flame that you concentrate on!
Light you candles/candle, and stare at the flame...
visualize the cool fire bathing you with protective light...
till your whole body is shinning with the light... and say:
Craft the spell in the fire
Craft it well... weave it higher.
weave it now of shinning flame
None shall come to hurt or maim.
None shall pass this fiery wall,
None shall pass, no, none at all!
This can be repeated any time you need it.

1) Stick the sewing needle threaded with some twine, (do not knot) into the side of the candle approximately 1/2 from the top of the candle. Light the candle. When the needle falls out, you can work the spell.
2) Hold the needle tightly between both hands and repeat these words aloud:
Where you come from, I care not
Where you go, best you be gone
Leave me now and let it be
The bond is cut, so by this done
3)With the scissors or knife, cut the twine in half. Lay the pieces in the pan.
4)Take your candle and drip wax over the ends of the twine that you just cut to seal those ends
5) Extinguish the candle.
6) Next, take your sewing needle and piercing both pieces of twine, pin them together
7)Keep the twine pinned and put it in a secure place in the room where you sleep.

It has been a confusing and interesting few months.
A friend of mine is now filming a TV show in England, and keeps calling me to help him with a read through of his script.. and also to stop him from taking on an English accent... so hard to do when you living there working with them
I've been told I should "tone down" the Witch thing..... this I just laughed at and told them to go suck eggs!! But it hurt a bit. This is how I replyed....
We've had snow, appliances breaking down... no heat, no oven... but all in all.... having all the bad things happening at the end of the year isn't that bad, at least we've gotten the over with. LOL
It hasn't been a bad year, just pretty interesting.... Like you've seen on my previous postings. Now I'm, AGAIN, studying scripts.... I have to learn to say NO! I really do. But, I feel something is about to cause this to all go away... just a feeling, haven't been able to track it down yet.
I've preformed a "Blood Spell".... something I normally never do, I don't know how it will work out, but it will be interesting if it does work. I have no expectations from my spells... because you know, in the end, it's the Goddess who decides if they will work or not.... so I just keep trying, and hoping she will grant me my wishes... but I'm never disappointed if she doesn't... that's just the luck of the draw.
All in all I just want my friends and family to leave me alone, and let me make my own way in the world. I've been doing fine for all these years, and that's not going to change. I don't ask their opinions... and never will!
I wish you all a Merry Yule, and a happy returning of the sun. May this next year bring you nothing but Joy, Love, and Wealth!!!!!!

Sweet Potato-Sausage Soup
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large yellow onion, diced large
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper
3/4 pound sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
2 sweet potatoes (1 pound total), peeled and diced medium
4 cups chicken broth (I'm allergic to chicken, so I used vegetable broth)
3/4 cup small pasta shells
4 cups roughly chopped mixed greens, such as kale and Swiss chard
Grated Parmesan, for serving
The only thing you do before hand is fry the sausage in the Olive Oil, while in the casings, then cool remove casings and add to the soup.
The rest is then added to the broth and cook and simmered till it's just right
The sweet potatoes are a must for women... they boost or estrogen, calm our nerves, and have loads of vitamins that women need!
Garlic and onions helps the immune system fight off colds and other winter woes
Kale and Swiss Chard are loaded with antitoxins and vitamins. I'm not normally a Kale lover, but in the soup it's super.... think Progresso Soups!
A friend suggested that you can substitute Tofu for the sausage... make sure you marinate it in Italian herbs before hand to get the proper taste

Since some people have posted that Sulfur is bad bad bad... and it isn't... but just to make them happy, I suggest instead of pure sulfur you just add ONE MATCH HEAD... since match's are made from sulfur, it should be MORE then enough, (actually a hell of a lot more then just a pinch of the pure stuff, but, hay, who am I to argue with people who act like they know everything) and of course since we use match's all the time.... you can see it's not that bad! Or you can use gardening sulfur, that you can buy at any home goods store. And just an added precaution, don't breath in the fumes while it burns.

On a full moon, take a mirror and go outside if you can,
Or open a window, making sure the moon is reflected on the mirror.
take a piece of a picture of yourself (whatever you are interested in changing)
place it on the mirror and concentrate on it and say...
let the wind carry your light,
let your glow cover my body,
and let your shine cover every eye."
Say it 3 times and concentrate on the part that you want to change, Then say...
shape and mold my body,
as a rose is granted beauty,
let me blossom in your light,
the light that brings me beauty,
and grant me beauty three times three"
Say it 3 times and when you are finished light a Pink or White candle, and allow yourself to relax and watch the flames.

Light 3 white candles. Look at the flames, imagining them coming from a warm fireplace in your space.
And chant this 3X's. Then blow out the candles. Do this 3X's a month for super added protection.
It just takes a few minutes, but it's well worth it!!

Written by Bliss Carman (1861-1929)
I heard the spring wind whisper
Above the brushwood fire,
The world is made forever
Of transport and desire.
I am the breath of being,
The primal urge of things;
I am the whirl of star dust,
I am the lift of wings.
I am the splendid impulse
That comes before the thought,
The joy and exaltation
Wherein the life is caught.
Across the sleeping furrows
I call the buried seed,
And blade and bud and blossom
Awaken at my need.
Within the dying ashes
I blow the sacred spark,
And make the hearts of lovers
To leap against the dark.
I heard the spring light whisper
Above the dancing stream,
The world is made forever
In likeness of a dream.
I am the law of planets,
I am the guide of man;
The evening and the morning
Are fashioned to my plan.
I tint the dawn with crimson,
I tinge the sea with blue;
My track is in the desert,
My trail is in the dew.
I paint the hills with color,
And in my magic dome
I light the star of evening
To steer the traveller home.
Within the house of being,
I feed the lamp of truth
With tales of ancient wisdom
And prophecies of youth.
I heard the spring rain murmur
Above the roadside flower,
The world is made forever
In melody and power.
I keep the rhythmic measure
That marks the steps of time,
And all my toil is fashioned
To symmetry and rhyme.
I plow the untitled upland,
I ripe the seeding grass,
And fill the leafy forest
With music as I pass,
I hew the raw, rough granite
To loveliness of line,
And when my work is finished,
Behold, it is divine!
I am the master-builder
In whom the ages trust.
I lift the lost perfection
To blossom from the dust.
Then Earth to them made answer
As with a slow refrain
Born of the blended voices
Of wind and sun and rain,
This is the law of being
That links the threefold chain:
The life we give to beauty
Returns to us again.

I found this cute little tutorial on Pinterset... It didn't have the witch's name who made it, but she is FANTASTIC!
This one is great for protection of yourself and/or your house. You see how she has hung it in the home, but you can also carry it with you if you like.
Though if you do, I would substitute a clove of garlic with some dried garlic, less smell.
If your looking for love use this instead:
It would also help if you put a drop of your own blood on one of the bay leaves.. and write LOVE on the leaf
There are so many ways to make these pouch's for protection, finding love, getting rid of an enemy etc. I would look up the meaning of Herbs and Stones and mix and match to you get what you want.
If it's to get rid of an enemy or just an annoying man... the pouch must be buried as close to their house as you can get, or even hidden down in their sofa cushions etc.
You can come up with some interesting hiding places if you think. I know one woman who hid the pouch under the man's car seat, and he never found it!
Got the cool witch's name that made this it's: http://witchywords.blogspot.com/
Go check her out!!!!!

Once a month, or more if I'm sick, or aggravated, or have encountered someone totally negative... I do a salt bath.
You fill the tub with the hottest water you can... and empty a WHOLE cardboard container of salt in it. Not just a little salt, the whole shebang!
I'm hearing you now complain that you only take showers... well, tough luck, it has to be a bath.... grow up and take one!!!
DO NOT USE SOAP, SHAMPOO, OR BODY WASH. DO NOT SCRUB, THIS IS A SOAK ONLY!
Now you have to make sure your WHOLE body gets wet at one time or another. this usually means turning over in the tub a few times. Also completely submerging you hair, head and face. Do not let on inch of your body free of the salt water.
This will clean all the negative stuff from your aura, and on the plus side it's great for your skin!
And you hair???? If you have straight hair, after drying with a towel, let it sit without combing, and you will have curls galore!!!

a certain or special person to call you. The spell can be used to
have a loved one or a family member call you, also be
used to have a boss or prospective employer call you to ease your mind from
worries. Give this spell a try when you are wanting to receive
a call from someone.
Take a piece of parchment or fine quality writing paper and inscribe the name of the target.
The call will come within 5 minutes, 5 hours, or 5 day, depending on how well the spell was cast and how much will
power was used.

Take a piece of paper and write the name of the person that is to be bound on a "3x3" piece of paper, using a black ink pen or a pencil.
Fold the paper twice and take a rubber band and tie the paper with it. Raise it to your temple and chant three times the following...
"To be protected from you,
This magic charm i will do,
With this words i bind thee,
For you to let me be,
To be protected from your harm,
I now seal this charm".
Now place the paper on your right shoe and slam your foot on the ground nine times (doesn't have to be so loud that everyone hears it) As you slam it the ninth time say...
SO MOTE IT BE

It has been a really busy summer for me, but now it all seems to be winding down... so maybe I can post more then usual.
What have I been doing? I've been doing favors for friends... who for some false reason, believe that I should join them in acting! I do not like that! But, they know how to work me, and work me they have been.
(please don't mention this on Facebook, I'd like to keep it low key for now, plus I didn't tell my family.. so ....shhhhhhh)
I wound up doing 2 Pilot shows that would have been in the fall line up... but both were not picked up by the networks. I don't mind being an extra... but nooooooooooo... I was actually one of the regular guys on the show. The first one I was the medical examiner...and the second I was the head nurse. It wasn't fun... I do not like acting.
You have to keep doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over... and I grow board fast! On top of that... even though the shows didn't make it.. I had to do like 5 photo shoots in NY! BAH! (actually they were kinda fun since you could goof around and be silly)
And, no, you can't see the pictures. I HATE how I look in photo's!!!!! I did keep me busy almost all spring and summer. So I can't complain too much.. though I know that just posting pre-made spell and pictures here is wrong, but it's all I had time for.
I have since resisted their begging for me to join them for more... seems I'm like a good luck charm or something, cause even though the shows didn't get picked up... 2 of my friends got something better. I know I'm being a bitch and I should say "I love acting, I'm going be a star!" but sweetie, you don't want to see this face in HD!!! No, you don't, and I sure don't want to see it either.
banning their persistence.. I have now returned to my normal life... and hopefully they are going to be too busy with their new shows to bug me (though, I have seemed to be given an Agent.. didn't know they could do that without my say so.. but they did).... so I promise I will be posting a lot more!
Thank you for your patience

Get a jug of water... could be just a bottle of water (the small kind will do, no need for a huge jug) even a milk bottle filled with water is fine too.
Add to it some rosemary and a pinch of sage, and put it as close to your neighbor as you can...
BETWEEN you and them.
Such as in an apartment, if they are above you... put the bottle on top of a bookshelf or your fridge. if they are below you, just put it somewhere in the corner of your living room!
If you live in a house, but the bottle outside between your house's.
Not sure why it works, but the water between you and them.... will cause them to move or change for the better. I've done this and it works fantastic!!!

What you need:
- An Orange Alter Cloth
- 1 Black Votive Candle
- 1 White Pillar Candle
- 1 Apple
- A Plate of Fruit
- Vegetables and Breads
- Pictures or Mementos of Departed Loved Ones
- Samhain Incense (Mint, Nutmeg, Apple)
Cast the circle and call Quarters...... invoke the Crone aspect of the Goddess by lighting the black taper Goddess candle and saying:
Step back from the altar and concentrate on the Goddess candle's flame. Should it rise and flicker, proceed. If not, silently project your wish to commune with your loved ones that have passed on. When you feel that your wish has been acknowledged, invoke the God by lighting the black taper God candle and saying:
Step back from the altar and concentrate on the God candle's flame. If it rises and flickers, proceed. If not, silently project your wishes that your loved ones be kept safe on their journey. When you feel that your request has been acknowledged, step back up to the alter and pick up the apple, saying:
Spirits walk amongst us, once again.
They be family, friends and foes,
Pets and wildlife, fishes and crows.
But be we still mindful of the Wee Folke at play,
Elves, fey, brownies, and sidhe."
Cut the apple crosswise with the knife to reveal the symbolic pentagram at the core. Take a bite of one half of the apple and set it back on the Pentacle. (This apple and others will be buried outside later, after the ritual is done) Continue:
Some to purposely misguide our feet.
Stay we on the paths we know
As planting sacred apples we go."
Now take your wand in your projective hand to bless the "Feast of the Dead". Wave it over the plate of fruits, vegetables, and breads, saying:
In my window one candle shall burn bright,
To help my loved ones find their way
As they travel this eve, and this night, until day.
Bless my offering, both Lady and Lord
Of breads and fruits, greens and gourd."
Replace the wand on the altar, step back and bow your head. Stay silent for a minute or two as the blessing is given. Proceed by lighting the black votive candle in the cauldron and saying:
Dark Father Your sword both protects and annihilates.
Hear me now as the past year slowly dies, only to be reborn again.
Today, the last of the Harvests is complete.
This symbolic harvest is of my thought-seeds,
Planted and nurtured throughout this past year.
May the good come to pass and the bad be cast aside.
With Your divine guidance and protection,
I step into the New Year,
May I have good health, prosperity, and happiness."
With the flame of the black votive candle light the white pillar candle, saying:
With new hopes and dreams.
Guide me in the future as in the past.
Give me strength and courage,
Knowledge and fulfillment,
Assist me as I attempt to achieve my goals."
Snuff the black votive candle and replace it. Remove the white pillar candle from the cauldron and place it in the center of your altar. Stare in to the flame and think about the goals that you are setting for the upcoming year. When done, say:
And every ending is a new beginning.
In Life is Death, and in Death is Life.
Watch over me, my loved ones, and all of my
Brothers and Sisters, here and departed,
Who, tonight are joined together again for
Fellowship and celebration.
Bless us all as we light our bonfires, our hearth fires,
And the eternal fires in our hearts.
Guide us and protect us,
Tonight and throughout the coming year.
Blessed Be! Blessed Be!"
As you say "Blessed Be!" stretch out your arms over your alter as if to embrace all of your ancestors, your departed loved ones, and everyone on Earth. As you say "Blessed Be" again, embrace yourself with a reborn love and pride.

I do this sometimes 2 times a year, but usually in the early fall. Go out and collect some acorns... I crush them up, and let them dry for a few weeks. then I put the crushed acorns in a fireproof dish, and set them on fire.
You watch them burn and make a wish for the coming year. After they finish burning... us them like you would tea leaves, and read the signs in the ash. Same signs as tea leaves, but you get much more of a reading with the acorns.

So, about this time you've harvested all the herbs you grew over the summer... and probably they are hanging, drying, now what to do with them???
Here's some hints on using those herbs!
herbs bundles, sprinkles or wreaths are made by choosing plants for their specific magics properties
Herb Amulets and Talismans
Herbal mixes again utilizing the herbs magics for clearing the space, for protection, for love, calming, energizing, healing, soothing the soul, the body, and spirit
Mixtures of fresh or dried herbs or oil preparations to add to your bathwater. Used to create a magical atmosphere, for cleansing and soothing the body and spirit.
Herbs infused in water, for outer applications but not ingested
are brewed in water, steeped until the right amount has been released then tea is then ingested.
Herbs for flavoring food
adding herbs to food for bring potent energies into the body. Used for clearing the body system, healing and magical, and of course, taste!
herbs used for their potency to aid in healing the body, the mind and the spirit
Herbs/oils are mixed into fat, beeswax, or other mediums.
resin burned on top of charcoal to release the energy from the plant into the air. Incense sticks and cones are also used in herbs magics
Herbs are infused in alcohol, letting their energies be released into the alcohol
Natural essential perfumed oils are used to anoint people, in herbs magics rituals using candles and sacred objects.
Herbs and herbs magics oils are added to homemade soaps
Now, lets get busy!!!!!!!!

The shelf life of many herbs is one to two years but this period is shorter when herbs are exposed to light, heat and open air. Herb leaves keep their flavor best when they are stored whole and crushed just before use. When herb seeds are to be used for cooking, the seeds should be stored whole and ground up as needed.
To prepare plants for drying, remove blossoms from the herb plant and rinse the leaves on the stem in cold water to remove soil. Allow plants to drain on absorbent towels until dry. Then place the herbs in a paper bag and tie the stems. Leave 1 to 2 inches of the stems exposed. This allows the plant oil to flow from the stems to the leaves. Place the bag in a warm, dry location. In about one to two weeks, when the leaves become brittle, tap them free of the stems and the leaves will fall into the bag. Store leaves in an airtight container away from the light.
Clean herbs as for bag drying but the heavy stalks can be discarded. Put the leafed stems one layer deep on a tray in a dark, ventilated room. Turn over the herbs occasionally for uniform drying. The leaves are ready for storage when they are dry and the stems are tough.
If you have a microwave oven, you can use it to dry herbs. Place the herbs between paper towels and set them on the rack. Close the door and turn the oven on a medium setting for about 2-3 minutes. Then check for dryness; the leaves should feel brittle and should crumble easily. If they are not done, turn the oven on for 30 seconds longer. Although this process actually cooks the herbs, the end product is just about the same as air drying. Store the dried herbs in closed containers.
Herbs may also be frozen. Rinse herbs in cold water and blanch in boiling, unsalted water for 50 seconds. Cool quickly in ice water, package and freeze. Dill, parsley, chives and basil can be frozen without blanching.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is widely used as a culinary herb, especially in Mediterranean dishes, and is also used as a fragrant additive in soaps and other cosmetics. Traditionally, rosemary has been used by herbalists to improve memory, relieve muscle pain and spasm, stimulate hair growth, and support the circulatory and nervous systems. It is also believed to affect the menstrual cycle, act as an abortifacient (inducing miscarriage), relieve menstrual cramps, increase urine flow, and reduce kidney pain (for example, from kidney stones). Recently, rosemary has been the object of laboratory and animal studies investigating its potential in the prevention of cancer and its antibacterial properties.

bad luck is coming, can you feel it?
like the sound of a small dog's nails clacking on a wooden floor
the elusive smell of something bad, that you can't quite pinpoint
Like the dark clouds that could mean rain, or snow
or the cold air creeping under the door way, and around the windows
bad luck comes like that
sneaks up when your sleeping
and settles in on your chest to stay awhile
and you pray that good luck will come
like a ray of sunshine on a rainy day
or the smell of hot chocolate steaming in your cup
when is it coming, why is it here, what will it do?
you never know, and when it hits, you no longer care
for time seems to stand still and good luck seems but a dream
like the ebb of the tides and the changing moons
bad luck never stays for long, and good luck always follows
like a cat purring in your arms, or the kiss of a tiny child
be patient, bad luck will end, and then comes good.
And all the time, bad or good, say to yourself...
The Goddess will Provide
and have faith that she will, in her own time, on her own conditions
but she will. For the Goddess is Hope, Love, and the anticipation
She will come, sit down beside you, and hold your hand, and as any good mother
she will kiss your tears away, and say "it's going to be alright, I promise!"
What more could you ask for?
So accept the bad mixed with the good
and smile away your tears
