My garden

Since I've moved down the shore, I no longer have a huge yard to take care of My lot is gravel, I do have a place in the front of the house that I cleared of gravel and planted flowers, including some nice rose bushes. And I have a huge cement patio to have planters on. In one large planter I have tomatoes, in the next I have a blueberry bush, the 3rd I have some nice egg plant plants, then another blueberry bush, then artichokes, and more artichokes. LOL I also have a nice bird feeder that I planted rosemary and lavender around.

They are just the perfect size for me!!!! Since I'm getting old, I don't have to bend, or weed or plow the earth. Just fill the containers and plant. It's realy nice!!!!!

In the front I have the rose bushes, and peonys, and bamboo, and tulips and such, they aren't in containers, so I do have to kneel to work with them, and kneeling on the gravel is murder..... but well worth it!!! When the rose's and peonys bloom I'll post some pictures, but it's too eary for that yet. LOL

I know I've always had huge gardens, and fruit trees, and tons of flower and flowering bushes, and I did miss that when I first moved down the shore.... but they had become so much work to up keep them, that I was always exhusted all summer.... now I relax, sit on my rocker and water the containers, and enjoy. What a wonderful change!!!!! Not that I still don't miss my old yards, but when I think of the work, I'm much better now! LOL

Snacks by your birth sign

Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Fiery Aries wants a snack with a kick. Wasabi peas are right up the Ram's alley. And though this sign sometimes has difficulty finishing projects, Aries will have no trouble working their way through a bag of these babies. Best consumed with a hefty supply of water.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
The Bull likes snacks with substance. Peanut butter crackers take the edge off this sign's appetite, particularly in the late afternoon. Be warned that Taurus can get extremely irritable if their favorite treats aren't readily available. If you live, love or work with this sign, you'd be wise to always keep some of these nibbles on hand.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini likes a bit of variety in their snack foods. Perhaps that's why this sign is so fond of Chex Mix. This blend of cereal, pretzels, nuts, and bagel chips is enough to hold even The Twins' interest. Part of the fun for this sign is sorting through the mix to find exactly which treat they want at any given moment.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer is "old school" when it comes to snacks. Potato chips are this sign's favorite vice, especially when loaded with all kinds of gooey dips. Don't try sneaking the baked or low-fat varieties past the Crab, unless you want a nasty pinch. As far as Cancer is concerned, if you're going to have a snack, it had better taste great!

Leo (July 23 - August 22)
The Lion's affinity for felines is legendary. What better snack for this sign, then, than Cheetos? Even a few handfuls of this snack will make the Lion purr with pleasure. If the jaunty tiger on the bag doesn't get this sign, then the lure of cheesy deliciousness will. Leo also enjoys licking the orange residue from this snack off their paws.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
You won't find health-conscious Virgo tearing through a huge plate of nachos. This sign prefers a snack that is both wholesome and filling. Soy nuts are just the ticket for a hungry Virgin. Choose the kind with no artificial flavoring and preservatives, please. This sign treats their body like a temple, even when it comes to snacks!

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Libra strives for balance in all things, including snacks. A bag of kettle corn is just the thing to keep this sign smiling. Coated with equal parts salt and sugar, this popcorn can satisfy Libra's desire for a treat that satisfies both sets of taste buds. Be warned, though --the only time a Libra won't share is when snacking on a favorite treat.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio likes salty snacks, because they harken back to this sign's watery origins. That's why black olives always make a big splash with this sign. Don't bother removing the pits -- Scorpio loves rooting out the stones from their favorite snack. Tapenade, or olive paste, is also a welcome treat for this sign, particularly when richly spread over thick slices of French bread.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
The Archer delights in snacks that have a foreign flavor. Is it any wonder, then, that this sign adores tortilla chips slathered with salsa? Add a dish of guacamole to the mix and Sagittarius is in seventh heaven. This sign's snack habits are legendary. If you're having a party, it's probably a good idea to prepare two plates -- one for Sagittarius, and another for the rest of your guests.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
The Goat prefers a snack with a touch of class. That's why you'll often find a bowl filled with pistachios on this sign's desk. Not only are these nuts expensive, but they're also delicious. There's the added benefit of having to shell these snacks before popping them into your mouth, too. Capricorn loves any treat that requires a bit of work.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Independent Aquarius likes a snack that's a bit off the beaten path. Pumpkin seeds fit the bill quite nicely. Not only do they fall outside the mainstream, they're healthy, too! Pumpkin seeds are rich in amino acids, which boosts brain activity. No wonder the Water-bearer prefers this snack above all others.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces is a mutable sign, which explains their affinity for chewy snacks. Treats that can't be easily chomped and swallowed prove a welcome diversion from bothersome concerns like work or household chores. Maybe that's why this sign enjoys gnawing their way through a piece of beef jerky. Vegetarians may prefer banana chips instead.

Beautiful

One of my favort spring ditties that I've written. LOL

Little bunnies hopping round
as I smash them in the ground
spring is here I hear them say
but those bunnies are too gay
smash them down, and grind them up
bunny butter for my sup

"The name Easter, like the names of the days of the week, is a survival from the old Teutonic mythology. According to Bede [an eight century monk] it is derived from Eostre, or Ostdra, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring, to whom the month answering to our April, and called Eoster-monath, was dedicated."
("Easter", Encyclopaedia Britannica, 11th edition)
So there you have it. Easter is actually the name of a pagan goddess.

What is the significance of the Easter Bunny? Both the easter egg and the bunny symbolize fertility and new life. Celebrating fertility is very much a pagan tradition. It is obvious why the egg symbolizes fertility, and if you remember the expression "they breed like rabbits", then you will also see why the bunny rabbit symbolizes fertility -- rabbits breed prolifically.

To re-incarnate or not that is the question

Like there is diversity in people, tall, short, fat, skinny, black, white, and so on..... There is also diversity in reincarnation. But, if you look, there are ways of telling.

When people die, they go into a choice stage. They can stay dead. Like a soap opera fan, some people pick this. They have kids and spouses who they want to watch and see how their lives fan out. Then you have those who refuse to admit they have died, they remain ghosts who roam the world over trying to figure out why no one see's them or pays attention to them. Then you have those who figure.... What the hell...... Let's try that again..... And off they go to live again.

Now you can tell those who are trying again. And in some simple ways. One thing is that most who die in the older ages, are born pissed off!!!! Yep, they have some rudiments memory or even all their memory's and are pissed off because they forgot one little fact.... When you come back, it's as a new born!!!! All of a sudden from a 50 yr old women, they are back in diapers again, can't communicate, and are generally pissed off at having someone run their lives!!!! Grouchy baby's, that cry, lash out, even bite as toddlers are just frustrated reincarnation.

They generally settle down once they can communicate and have their own mobility, then they start to forget, and start enjoying being young again. Those baby's that are born happy, bubbly, they remember the most, and are totally happy going to do it all over again. Or they have almost no memory, so they don't react to the stress's of being dependent again.

those baby's that for some reason or another die in the early stages, they decided that they don't like the choice they made, weather it's their sex, color, or parents.... They go for starting over again right away. Sometimes it's just the fact they can't cope with the memory's and choose not to do it all over again.

They usually won't be born again for quite a while, while they come to grips with what went on in their past lives.

Then there are the baby's that excel. They remember the most, and are determined to do it over again, and get it right. They grow healthy and intelligent. Do good in school, and marriage, and have down right gorgeous kids. They have coped the best, and retained the most from past lives.

But there are always gliches. They married the wrong man, didn't feel they reaised the kids right, were sick most of the time..... They are the strongest of the ones that die and are reborn almost with in the same week.

They are determined to get it right, not knowing the life is a gamble, and it's almost never perfect. When they realize that, then they remain dead instead of trying over and over again.

Undo bad energy, bad fortune & get rid of a bad situation
To undo a hex, bad energies, bad fortune, and get rid of bad situations from your life . . .

recite 3 times while preparing the next part.

Take his name and bind it in red, with a hot chili pepper place it under your bed.

out for what is right. Declare your wounds be healed before dusk, lest his words to a shrink he in trust.

Call out to Akianshasar to aid in your plight, once done be happy to sleep one good night. By morning, from dream, you'll be well aware of all that will happen
in this misfortune you share.

Beautiful day!!!

Oh what a wonderful day today was!

I went out side, and worked the dirt in my containers to get them ready for planting.

I also dug up some peonies and planted them in a better place. It was just wonderful to get out of the house for a while!!!!!!

OK, I'm mean! GIGGLE

I got my daughter going to shore leave with me!!!!! Yippie!!!!! I bullied her into it, but she needs a vacation, and she's gonna get one, even if she doesn't like it. Giggle But, I think she does like it. She's already gotten her suitcase, and started planning her clothing.

I know, the Con isn't till July, but think of it this way....... If you wait till July to get your summer clothing ready, you won't find any in the stores!!!! I know, I've tried it before. It's better to get your stuff when it first hits the shelves, like this month, then to wait and wind up with crummy left overs. LOL

I already have most of what I'm taking with me ready. Just a few things I need to get. A few blouses, and maybe a new swimming suit, not that I need one, but just because I want one. One must look nice you know. LOL

I'm not quite sure who's in my room yet, except for Jaime...... Steph and Ty might join us sharing the room, and that would be great, they do have a room, so they are keeping it till they decide what to do. Either way I'm going to really enjoy this shore leave!!!!

The last couple of years I've gone with <<>> friends, they never wanted to sit by the pool or swim, like I love too, and the group they hung out with were total loosers!!! Plus having to walk around the con with a huge fat man huffing and puffing around behind us (my friends friend) So I was stuck socializing with people I'd rather not!!!!!! So this year I'm going to be with my old friends, and it will be 1000 times better!!!!! Can't wait to go!!!!

I can do all the stuff I used to, and not be tied down with someone that doesn't know how to have any fun!!!! LOL It should be great. Jaime was always a fun kid, and even though she's grown and has 3 kids of her own, I still love hanging around with her. So we are getting ready, checking our clothing, making sure we have all the stuff we need..... And Oh, planning the food!!!!!!

Now the hotel we always stay in has a nice restaurant, and a pizza hut, and a bar menu... All in the hotel, but you gotta have snacks. I'm bringing bagels, lox, and cream cheese (for breakfast)

The others always forced me to go to breakfast at the hotel, now It was nice, and cheap buffet, but there is never anything but bacon and sausage there that I can eat!!!!!! Why spend the money to have two things, while everyone else is eating Swiss waffles and such.... It's a bitch being allergic to eggs!!!!!,

Jaime is making quacolmolie (I know I spelled that wrong!)...... So snacks are set. Coffee machine is in the room, so all I need is to bring some REAL milk...... Never did like that stupid powdered creamer.

We'll also probably bring caviar and cream cheese and crackers for snacking at night. I'm hoping to get a nice poolside room.... Which is pretty much a given since I talked to the hotel about it...... But if no, I'm cool with that too. Just as long as it's on the 1st floor and not far from the dealers room.

Oh and for Steph, I'm bringing hot coco, whipped cream and Godiva Chocolate liquor.

Ohhhhh, and the dealers room!!!! I'm not a star trek fan, funny since I go to the conventions.... But the dealers room have tons more stuff then just star trek shit. Lots of silver jewerly, minerals, and crystals..... And much, much more! Hope I have a ton of cash to spend!!!!
