I believe my best friend and I have had a similar conversation, lol.
It generally went-
Bestie: "don't you think you should get in shape so you can outrun the zombie apocalypse?"
Me: "I don't have to be faster than the zombies...I just have to be faster than you and you trip easy. Sacrifices must be made.."
